ABBOTSFORD | Flood, Sweat and Tears

British Columbia got hit with extreme rainfall and floods in november 2021, thousands of homes and business were directly affected. I went door to door in the Sumas Valley in Abbotsford to chat with people who are still recovering from last year's flood.

To me, the craziest thing is that insurance companies are aware of the threat of flooding, and that is exactly why they don't cover it... to protect their profits. What a great community they have there!
