Join me on this cold Long Range FPV journey in Lofoten Island, Norway as our two 10-Inch Helions defy nature's wrath, engaging in battle against powerful winds. Flying on top of frozen mountain peaks.
This is an ultimate test for any FPV drone. To tackle the challenges of flying in high winds ads an extra layer of excitement to the journey. With wind speeds ranging from 20-25 meters per second and even more at higher altitudes, the stakes are high, making every moment an adrenaline-packed experience!

Ive watched a few of your vids...noticed you get the annoying "telemtry lost" notification.... i got that when i first bought my elrs RM zorro...i cant remember what fixed it but it was either the packet rate on the tx to rx setting at 250hz if i recall right OR changing the actual alarm threshold down lower which is fine for LR.... Im also gonna say " i think theres a Bardwell video" about it too...hope that helps

Hello Philip. I love your videos. I have a question: When your Radio says: Telemetry lost... Aren't you afraid of losing the drone? How do you have it configured to ignore the Radio's voice?

The telemetry signal is much weaker than the control signal so its not really a problem. It does not affect the drone in any way.
Its only loosing the ability to send data back to the radio but the drone itself and in the goggles the data is not interrupted. Telemetry power is usually only 1/20 of how powerfull the control signal is.

How do you think the iflight 7 would have handled the same flight. More problems with wind?

I think it would have handled it, but not quite as good! The more heavy battery, the better :)

@@Philip_Halvorsen I'm running 8000mah li ion on mine. Goal is to come to norway, and the north to fly in that area. Just have to wait until I get hold of a "bobil" and Ill make it a reality 🙂

Yes but loosing signal when flying in close proximity to objects is always a risk even with failsafe like RTH.
