I think apple pencil 1 is much better option think of it as what the use of type c pencil that it sticks magnetically but not charge and also not have pressure sensitivity so the main feature lacks so any third party alternative can used where as on apple pencil 1 it pressure sensitive and is flagship pencil from apple have all features even launch in 2015 I will say all useful features as hovering is only for m2 iPad’s and double tap is not supported either on type c pencils

Error: you can't stick the Apple Pencil USBC to charge.
Edit: Apple Pencil usb-c isn't convenient or more features

I think you miss understood, you can charge the pencil using a separate charging cord while still using the pencil
