That insta style poetry is just her taste though, as evidenced by her love of Lang Leav. Short, simple and often cliched but it's art, it's all subjective; not definitively bad or good. Lots of her fans seem to like her poetry and it doesn't matter if they're biased, it makes them happy so it's served its purpose.

THIS IS NOT HER POETRY. these are OTHER poets. she even says that, shows that, and says HER POETRY WILL BE OUT THE FOLLOWING MONTH. just so everyone knows. maybe whoever posted this channel was mislead. her poetry can be read elsewhere now though, for what it really is, which to me, concludes: sweet girl, decent actress but terrible poet. straight up just 2012 heartbreak tumblr posts, i'm sorry lilli. not trying to crush your dreams, i encourage everyone i KNOW to write; and at least you actually read poetry too, unlike certain unexperienced instapoets on youtube ~cough~. however- the problem i have lies not in your fantastic ability to write BAD poetry, but the fact that celebrities whose talents lie elsewhere get to publish terrible poetry and become best-selling based solely on priorly dedicated fans, taking the limelight from poets/writers who are genuinely dedicating their lives only/primarily to writing + who have no prior fanbase and thus often no publication even with their talent. because the success from a previously famous person sets a precedent they want to keep matching. i was originally glad about things like milk & honey, adultolescence, etc despite how bad they were because i was glad it was getting the newer eras into poetry again, but if this kind of stuff is ALL they're going to read once they're reintroduced to it then i change my mind lmao *_(yes, i know this is not lilli's youtube channel, the second-person is more of a symbolic address, thanks)_*
