Well dad had to pay for the wedding dress fitting the wedding plus the new house which just happens to be on dad's work route. He bought new tires he really takes care of his girl♥️

People use to think that following a truck at a certain distance that the air flow from the truck would pull you along and you would get better gas mileage. Don't know if that''s true or not, but have learned since that the truckers do not appreciate it. Have learned so much from you guys about trucking and what people do to put the truckers in danger.I have always tried to be mindful of my driving when around truckers. Hey Mike, good to hear from you again. Drove into Denver on the 27th of Feb, saw 4 Quality trucks headed west during my drive and one sitting at the Dotsero pull off. Boy he was covered in dried slush and mud. Why he was there i couldn't figure out. that was about 2 pm. But didn't see any when i came back on the 7th. Enjoy the new digs, love how you take care of your family. Also cool to see a Quality truck, like seeing family on the road. So where are you going to park the truck after you'all get in the new house? Pulling Vail that Saturday i was in the left lane nearly all the way and didn't notice the bad road in the right lane. Nasty nasty!! anyway see ya!!

I used to run through there in the 70s through about 1990 it was beutiful I hadn't been there in years I went through there 2 years ago it made me sick to see how bad the area looks now,over half the trees are gone it's so over built its ugly and sickening.just like donner pass about 90 percent of the trees on the mountains are gone it just isn't even nice to look at anymore...I'm so glad I'm retired now the interstates have no caracter slot of the beutiful country is gone like those ugly windmills across kansas.but you still have nice videos.thanks.

Hi M.M.M., love the ride and all the information, especially the scenery. I hear many don't care for the jake brake, but I enjoy the sound. Maybe if I lived near it, I may have a different view. But then again I love the sound of Harley's with loud pipes. Personally I believe that's the only way regular driver's will ever notice motorcycle's. Personal view. Too many people don't notice motorcycle's. Back to your drive. How long does it take for a semi driver to become "seasoned" or "well seasoned" in your personal view and or experience? That semi that whipped buy you, you mentioned he may have had chain wheels? I'm guessing he's got chain's on. And yes I love the tunnel ride. I enjoy the surprise weather out of the tunnel. This tunnel is the highest point on the Interstate system at over 11,000 feet. The bypass route (US-6) around the tunnels for hazmat is at around 12,000 feet.

DEF is used to reduce pollution - and is injected under heavy load, such as accelerating and going up hills. Basically all the times the black smoke would come out of the exhaust before you were using DEF.

The last time I drove over Vail Pass was a few years ago in mid-April between two storms. The day I drove it the sun was out and the road was dry at about 7am. We stopped shortly after that for breakfast at the Log Cabin Cafe in Frisco.

Hi, I'd like to take issue with your comments about plow truck drivers. My husband drove truck '68 Pete with a 4 and a 3 twin stick. Years later, to be close to home, got a job with the highway maintenance. There he drove a 10 yard w/13. And heavy equipment. He was with the highway depot for 30 until an accident, fell outside the truck, down a ravine forced
To retire. He trained drivers and they were required to have Class A for the 10 yard and a class D for the 3 yard. So just to let you know they are trained. And he did everything in his power to keep the roads open. Said he was better when there was traffic when it snowed.
Part of his charms his personality, , I for one like his personality, he shares his deepest thoughts just take them with a grain of salt. All adore his trucking experience his adorable style of story telling. Hope they honor his original contract of weekends off.
Hi Mountain Man Trucker Mike. I just got done watching videos on bad drivers. Some showed stupid things people do around truckers. There were some bad truckers also. Speaking of your time limits on driving one guy got caught in a Catch 22. His driving time ran out after delivering a load . The place he delivered at would not let him park on their property. So he parked on the street which was posted no parking. Sure enough a cop came buy and told him he had to go. The trucker told the cop his problem. He still had to move. Cop said there was a place he could park a couple of miles down the road. That is where the video ends.
I play a lot of games online on my tablet okay you go to the app store or your apps and you want to download games they got an app on there and I think I am pretty sure you're the driver that said it you remember all that marijuana you seen in the longer side of the road okay you can't smoke it because you're a driver it's more important to make a living driving truck than it is to do that I understand completely but there's an app on there that you can get that you can invest in and it's called stash from in marijuana the plants the oil and it's a investing site I think but I can't invest so I'm not going to go in there and check it all out I'm on SSI and SSDI so I'm not going to do that cuz I'll lose one of them or both of them if I invest that money but it's just a suggestion just check it out see how you know if it's be good for you because they say that not the states are legalizing it that they make $100 billion dollars a year on it that's a lot of money dude yeah you invest but you know you're not going to make that kind of money but just think and I'll back in the eighties when I smoked it you never thought about that stuff but I'm 35 years clean on it so I can't be around it no more I get anxiety

I assume you are talking about the Obama clock when you discuss the situation in so far as time left for driving? Seems as if drivers are being nit picked to death in the name of safety? I think it has nothing to do with safety but more so with control and regulation? How can 5 or 10 minutes extra inhibit your driving safety? Hours maybe but a few minutes I don’t think so. Hey Mike, good to hear from you again. Drove into Denver on the 27th of Feb, saw 4 Quality trucks headed west during my drive and one sitting at the Dotsero pull off. Boy he was covered in dried slush and mud. Why he was there i couldn't figure out. that was about 2 pm. But didn't see any when i came back on the 7th. Enjoy the new digs, love how you take care of your family. Also cool to see a Quality truck, like seeing family on the road. So where are you going to park the truck after you'all get in the new house? Pulling Vail that Saturday i was in the left lane nearly all the way and didn't notice the bad road in the right lane. Nasty nasty!! anyway see ya!!

I used to run through there in the 70s through about 1990 it was beutiful I hadn't been there in years I went through there 2 years ago it made me sick to see how bad the area looks now,over half the trees are gone it's so over built its ugly and sickening.just like donner pass about 90 percent of the trees on the mountains are gone it just isn't even nice to look at anymore...I'm so glad I'm retired now the interstates have no caracter slot of the beutiful country is gone like those ugly windmills across kansas.but you still have nice videos.thanks.

Hi M.M.M., love the ride and all the information, especially the scenery. I hear many don't care for the jake brake, but I enjoy the sound. Maybe if I lived near it, I may have a different view. But then again I love the sound of Harley's with loud pipes. Personally I believe that's the only way regular driver's will ever notice motorcycle's. Personal view. Too many people don't notice motorcycle's. Back to your drive. How long does it take for a semi driver to become "seasoned" or "well seasoned" in your personal view and or experience? That semi that whipped buy you, you mentioned he may have had chain wheels? I'm guessing he's got chain's on. And yes I love the tunnel ride. I enjoy the surprise weather out of the tunnel. This tunnel is the highest point on the Interstate system at over 11,000 feet. The bypass route (US-6) around the tunnels for hazmat is at around 12,000 feet.

DEF is used to reduce pollution - and is injected under heavy load, such as accelerating and going up hills. Basically all the times the black smoke would come out of the exhaust before you were using DEF.

The last time I drove over Vail Pass was a few years ago in mid-April between two storms. The day I drove it the sun was out and the road was dry at about 7am. We stopped shortly after that for breakfast at the Log Cabin Cafe in Frisco.

'68 Pete with a 4 and a 3 twin stick.
Years later, to be close to home, got a job with the highway maintenance. There he drove a 10 yard w/13. And heavy equipment.
He was with the highway depot for 30 until an accident, fell outside the truck,
down a ravine forced
To retire. He trained drivers and they were required to have Class A for the 10 yard and a class D for the 3 yard. So just to let you know they are trained.
And he did everything in his power to keep the roads open. Said he was better when there was traffic when it snowed.

Hi Mountain Man Trucker Mike. I just got done watching videos on bad drivers. Some showed stupid things people do around truckers. There were some bad truckers also. Speaking of your time limits on driving one guy got caught in a Catch 22. His driving time ran out after delivering a load . The place he delivered at would not let him park on their property. So he parked on the street which was posted no parking. Sure enough a cop came buy and told him he had to go. The trucker told the cop his problem. He still had to move. Cop said there was a place he could park a couple of miles down the road. That is where the video ends.

I play a lot of games online on my tablet okay you go to the app store or your apps and you want to download games they got an app on there and I think I am pretty sure you're the driver that said it you remember all that marijuana you seen in the longer side of the road okay you can't smoke it because you're a driver it's more important to make a living driving truck than it is to do that I understand completely but there's an app on there that you can get that you can invest in and it's called stash from in marijuana the plants the oil and it's a investing site I think but I can't invest so I'm not going to go in there and check it all out I'm on SSI and SSDI so I'm not going to do that cuz I'll lose one of them or both of them if I invest that money but it's just a suggestion just check it out see how you know if it's be good for you because they say that not the states are legalizing it that they make $100 billion dollars a year on it that's a lot of money dude yeah you invest but you know you're not going to make that kind of money but just think and I'll back in the eighties when I smoked it you never thought about that stuff but I'm 35 years clean on it so I can't be around it no more I get anxiety
