- I walk through how to find estate sales near you, and how to plan ahead to get the best deals and to find unique items for your home. I also share some of my favorite past finds which include vintage and new pieces. Get inspiration around what you might expect to find at the next estate sale you pop into. From unique home decor, to furniture, to outdoor furniture, to everyday household items - I share detailed tips and insights on what you can do to plan in advance so that the day of the estate sale you walk in confidently knowing what to expect and have a strategy in place to try to get the pieces you want.
Regardless if this is your first estate sale or you've been to many in the past, I hope this video provides some new tips to get the most out of them. I also hope you enjoy seeing some of our favorite finds for our home and that it gets you excited for what you might be able to find for your home too!

Beautiful finds! It's great that you explained how to negotiate, while remembering three key points. It never hurts to ask. Always be respectful and realistic with your offer. Be ready to lose the item and walk away if you can't come to terms. So many in the U.S. are unwilling to negotiate. It's totally appropriate when you're buying a group of items, paying cash, and have sussed out what is a reasonable price. If they say no, you can go ahead and buy or take a chance on a second day markdown. Always be polite! You have a great eye and a lovely home. Smart lady!
