It’s set in an area of granite cliffs, forested valleys, lakes, waterfalls and grassy hills. After Madurai just now m returning from Kodaikanal with my mother. In Kodaikanal I used the cab of yogesh sir(number given in description box). Very nice person although I couldn't meet him but he arranged everything like pickup from Madurai then drop in Kodaikanal hotel visiting all the sight seen places. He has given a driver named Mariyappan who is also a very well behaved nice man. I Would suggest if any one of you plan to come for Kodaikanal then you must contact Yogesh sir.

Sir You will get only government buses from Aarapalayam bus stand Madurai to kodaikanal and it will take approximately 3hrs to reach kodaikanal...I am giving you another option,There everyday many drivers comes to Madurai for dropping tourist...call on this number Yogesh 9965036505 .he can arrange your pickup from madurai in very low cost if any driver coming empty madurai to kodaikanal !! ❤❤

Thank you thnx alot for watching my video ..Kodaikanal is not a very expensive hill station.you need minimum 3days for explore entire kodaikanal and for that you will get cab In 1500rs pr day and decent hotel also there available under 1500rs ..u can also take 2whlr on rent in just 400rs.I have given 2 numbers in the description box, talk to them, they will arrange cab and hotels for you in your budget❤
I am visiting Kodaikanal on 22nd morning. for one day visit, as i have to go back to delhi from Madurai. Can i see 4 to 5 places in one day apart from lake?
Sir you can cover all these places which I shown in video but for that You have to take a cab there. Driver will be pick you at 9am and he will be drop you 5pm near Kodaikanal Lake after all sightseeing ...There all cab has a fix rate of 1500 rupees for per day. In December the weather will be very good at both places and this year on 31st December I was in ooty and the condition was very bad there.1000rs wala room ₹10000 dene pr bhi nhi mil rha tha .kodaikanal is best for year end but you will be disturbed in ooty if you haven't already fixed hotel and transportation there.❤❤

There will be no fun in the rain especially when you have a small baby with you. It Would be better that you plan for September or October.. that time there will be greenery everywhere, the waterfalls will have filled and the rain has stopped, then you will get lot of fun in kodaikanal!❤

Yes, December is a great time to go there. But avoid going there during Christmas and New Year because everything will be very expensive there.

Thank you for watching my video.Bro Kodaikanal will be more crowded during Christmas and New Year and hotels and cab will very expensive..But don't worry, I am giving you a number of my friend Yogesh ( 9965036505) you can book your car and hotel from now..he has own Toyota Eitos which I used in video that is comfortable for 5 person and he will take 1500rs per day and he will arrange aur pick up from Madurai and hotel too in ur budget ..
Toyota Eitos is enough for 5 person i think eitos is 5 seater car and with driver total 6 memeber..??

sir please tell a suitable way of how to reach KODAIKANAL from KODAIKANAL ROAD(via a train we'll be travelling from rameshwaram to kodaikanal road) but we want to reach kodaikanal..please help..
If you are reaching Kodaikanal Road railway station by train, then the station is on the main road. you will get easily buses just outside from railway station .But I would suggest you if you are coming from Rameswaram then first you go to Madurai...visit minakshi sundaram temple and Alagar kovil temple And then take a bus from Madurai to kodaikanal or call Yogesh 9965036505 madurai se agar kodaikanal uske contact ki koi cab empty ja rhi hogi to Yogesh apko bahut kam paise me car arrange kar dega..There are always cab drivers coming and going empty from Madurai to Kodaikanal.
If you already booked train ticket thn no issue you will get buses very easily from kodaikanal road station..station bilkul main road pr hi hai jaise AP bahar aoge apko bus mil jayegi

Other option is there cab ..the distance from station to Kodaikanal is 80 kms and cab will be take up to ₹ 1000.
