    I started my own roofing company this year. After 3yrs as a GM at another company.
    I hustle daily, my guys door knock daily, I preach consistency, I upgrade roof systems, make it personable, show we care, budget bills, work daily like we are broke.
    Results: 12mil in sales in 9 months. 6 mil the first 6. Had an install everyday since March 22nd. I knock daily and lead by example. If I’m working everyday and hustling. So should everyone as well.

    Love this guy! We are almost 2yrs in, and bootstrapped from the ground up. Already $6mill in sales, this month alone our biggest month at $800k.
    I started as a salesman at another company. Then left and started my own company. Started with a name. Then a logo, website. I did sales, partner did production. Then added PM and partner did office stuff. Then added a SM and then Office Cord. Then got the office. Little by little grew. This week I am adding an in-house accountant (already have a tax guy). Definitely wish I used Jobnimbus earlier, I waited about 6 months, had to play catch up.
    In October we open 2nd office. So from now until then we are polishing our systems, because you can clone systems, can’t clone chaos.

    Man I love your videos. I've been in the roofing industry for 20+ yrs. I'm currently working for a chimney/roofing company. They don't really have much roofing value but expect top tier roofing pricing. 500$ sq. And of course not closing any jobs in our area. Average in our area is apx 300$ sq @ big roofing companies with roofing value behind them. I have been researching shingle coating and would love to hear your opinion. It has had issues in the past but the technology has come a long way. It has gained a lot of traction because of the huge rise in asphalt and metal cost over the last 15yrs. Some of the manufacturers I've looked in to are roof mastic, nutech, and roof mate.

    I'd add that a good contract template would be a good start. No one sane is willing to sign a contract written on the back of a napkin. I've been coming across roofing contractors who have scary contracts that don't offer protections for the client.

    What Mr Know it all isn’t understanding is referrals are gold. The so called online customer is getting 5 bids, where many referred people only get one bid! They trust you so you can take them to the cleaners! Yes I am kidding, but you don’t have to be aggressive on your price. As with most braggers, “ charge a lot for a repair” is not always just for the taking.
    Hi, I need my gutters cleaned, ok that will be $400.
    Wow, I paid $150 last year! I ?know we charge $400 now because Russian guy said charge a lot. Oh, ok then, I can’t say no to that Russian reasoning. I still say thumbs up for the over all good advice,

    • @genayev7654
      @genayev7654 Před 4 lety +1

      $150 for gutter cleaning is not worth the risk. People who value their time will always charge higher. I fell off a 10 foot roof, 3/12 pitch and was out of work for 1 month. I lost thousands of dollars, and for a " quick " $100 fix that cost me alot more in the end. And plus you don't have to say " the Russian guy " told me to charge higher, you say inflation lol but in honesty those who value themselves and their time will always charge more because of how much they have put into the business.
