Ashok Leyland 2518 T IL is a fully built multi-axle tipper truck in the GVW 25T category used in construction and mining industry. The main applications related to this truck are road construction, sand, brick industry and blue metal. The tipper is powered by H series, Turbocharged Intercooled, BS-III diesel engine with in-line fuel injection system. The 5660cc engine has the ability to churn out 180 bhp @ 2400 rpm and 670 Nm torque @ 1300-1600 rpm coupled with 6-speed direct drive transmission system. More enhanced performance comes from the 381mm dia single plate dry type clutch with booster and ceramic disc. The sleeper cabin design is sturdy and score brownie points in terms of ergonomics as well. Features like driver information display, power steering, adjustable driving seat, arm rest, parking brakes, fog lights and tubeless tyres come handy during day to day operations. With the ex-showroom price tag of INR 29.14, Ashok Leyland 2518 T IL competes against Tata LPK 2518 and Eicher Terra 25 in the segment.
