Can't go wrong with the Bee Gees. All of them had very distinct voices and styles, but when they came together it was almost like one voice. BTW, they could all sing falsetto but it is Maurice (in black) singing it in this video. However, I did read that Barry did it on the actual recording. Don't know if that's true. Their catalog goes back to the mid '60s. Find videos where Maurice (pronounced Morris) and Robin are singing lead. Maurice and Robin are twins (Mo in black and Robin in the middle). Barry (on right singing lead) is the older by 3 years. There was also a younger brother Andy who had his own hits, but sadly died in 1988. Maurice died in 2003 and Robin in 2012. Only Barry and their older sister Lesley are still alive. Barry was Knighted by (then Prince Charles) in 2018. He just recently became a Kennedy Center Honoree. Some of their children and grandchildren are also in the music business. I love some of their earlier stuff as well as their after disco career. One of their last recordings is "This is where I came in" released in 2001. There is a funny official video of the song as well as a "Making of" video here on CZcams. Is worth watching them. If you know much about their history, you'll realize the video is a bit biographical. Sorry for the long post. I can talk about them "forever".

Thanks, Dennis.. one of my favorites.. I just love Robin, in particular.. any of those boys could sing any of those notes on any day of week.. lol..(p.s. check out Maurice in the ad-lib vocals at the end.. Mo never got enough credit for his contributions.. both vocally and instrumentally) appreciate your reaction...

You have great taste Dennis. The singer in the middle is Robin. In my opinion the best voice of all three of them. Thanks for the reaction

The kids- called Gibb collective. Well worth listening to. Barry had a new album 2016 In the now, 2021 Greenfields where Barry sings the Bee Gees songs with country artists including Dolly Parton on Words. Before you listen to the duet listen to Eords live 1979 please. ❤❤

Robin Gibb was the guy in the middle; Maurice Gibb was doing the high pitched, 'blaming it all', while Robin and Barry were doing their 'one voice' lower pitch act. This was the song Barry found his 'falsetto' on but still did not have the confidence to do his scream live. Hear their studio recorded version to hear first Barry falsetto screams that much was to be made of in Saturday Night Fever.

Bee Gees are the best. Robin is the one you were saying you liked his voice (and I agree). The Gibb Collective (the kids) did an album and one of the songs they did was "Please Don't Turn Out The Lights" - you should do the Bee Gees version and the Collective version back to back - if you like the harmonies this is a must.

Bee Gees, one very special band! So many beautiful songs and harmonies. An overlooked album of theirs is Living Eyes. Great songs!
I have a song for you to react to if you can. “Hear You Calling” by Broken Stems. I don’t believe anyone has reacted to it yet. Gove it a listen when you can.
    Keep rockin’!

Maurice hitting the high notes (blamin' it all...) was not falsetto. That was the top of Mo's natural range.🧐
