Love crab apple blossom. So great in the heat. Probably my favorite this summer. Makes me feel like I’m at a high class beach resort drinking a cocktail by the water
I just got Thomas Kosmala no. 8 Tonic Vert. Easily one of my favorites in my growing collection. So fresh with lime and mint. Dries down into a masculine shaving cream to me. It is addictive
Any time we have a beautiful refreshing fragrance like Eau d’Orange Verte & DHI , you know they won’t last so just make yourself a decant to respray throughout the day.
Rain Essence is in my top 10 Spring/Summer frags. Unique DNA , it’s EXACTLY what you expected out of something called Rain Essence 🔥🔥
Acqua Oud and Oud Symphony by Precious Liquid is so nice man. Glad you gave it a shout out. Crab Apple Blossom is nice as well, lite, smooth, floral I love it.

Acqua oud is so fire. I don’t get much of any oud, just melons mainly and some woods.
I bought a tester of GnTonic, I love it, I feel it’s something to wear for a nice day party while you have a few cocktails and make questionable decisions

I’ve tried GN tonic but I prefer La Boheme by Superz over it. Same refreshing gin and tonic vibe but makes a bigger statement due to dominant ginger and grapefruit notes which make it extra fresh spicy. It’s also half the price of Micallef

Aqua Celestia cologne forte is a magnet. People chase you down to ask what you're wearing. Amazing scent
Speaking of Precious Liquid - Mandarin is the most beautiful, realistic citrus with a hint of herb, followed by a pleasant musk. And Blue Agave 💪🏾 nuff said
Rain Essence great performance and projection nowadays for the heat. I live in Cabo and today I wore and got a lot of complements. I bought it a week ago since you recommended it, I’m not disappointed at all.

This is great. I have Hermes d’Orange Verte “Concentre”. It’s a stronger and sharper fragrance and I love MFK’s stuff. The one you mentioned is great but what is just as good as Aqua Universalis forte.. beautiful scent!!! Bogart has nice and very affordable fragrances, and Givenchy Vetiver and Xeryus.. and check out EVERYTHING in Aqua di Parma’s blu Mediterranean line..soooo clean and citrusy.

Tried Gin & Tonic in Dubai airport. To me, nothing special. Very generic and overpriced.
I havent tried gn tonic yet but maybe you are right, it could be hype!
@AZK82 I like it for an easy wearing hot weather scent. Goldfield & Banks Bohemian Lime is a suitable swap if you want to save some money though.

Bought the 2ml from Scentsplit and it smells very basic. Sprayed it again this morning and it doesn't even last on my skin
I’ve been looking forward to that driftwood/minerally rush with Peau Salée from Teo Cabanel (now in the regular collection), A’mmare by Carthusia, Kenzo Homme EdP, Malibù - Party at the bay from Simone Andreoli, Ocean Water by Beach Geeza, Lineage by Amouage and Oud Minéral by Tom Ford. Beach! 🤣

I'll echo everyone for Acqua oud. Precious Liquid does great work. Question for you Justin or anyone in the know: does the juniper in GNtonic create a metallic vibe at all? I think I may have an issue with the juniper note, sadly.

I got an 8 ml sample of aqua oud with my purchase of blue agave and wore it out and it almost made me throw up. I didn’t understand what “barnyard” meant until I wore aqua oud. The oud is so overwhelming I had to shower and throw away the sample. I got a 5mil in a sample set I got to try the rest of the line. I’ll revisit and see if it still makes me want to throw up.
It was close to 90 today, and I felt like wearing Herod. Didnt. Went with Vertus Monarch instead. Gonna try Aqua Oud in my next decant order. Sprayed some Herod once I got home. Plus, the Tigers won.
I like the bottle of the eau d'orange verte line more than their scents tbh.
Bvlgari rain essence is indeed very nice ad not generic which, like you said, is much appreciated.

New to the fragrance game but I really enjoy Tom Fords Costa Azzurra and L’eau D’issey Intense. I’ll definitely be looking into a few on this video

I just recently got a sample of the original Aqua Celestia and your thoughts match mine exactly. I said it smelled like a woman fresh out of the shower and gave it to my girlfriend. It’s beautiful, but not for me. I’d like to smell the forte version.
Great list JC. I have 3 from that list and i enjoy them.
Acqua Oud is my OUD+synthetic note scent but its not as calone or marine note centered as i hoped for. Its smells good, not as challenging and has good performance. Its my 2nd from the brand after Blue Agave which you suggested before.
I love Rain Essence and truly love that its, borrowing your words, simple but not basic. Its easy to like and has great performance. Very easy on the nose and calming tea scent that kinda delivers on the rain vibe.
GNtonic is great. To me, its like Elysium where despite their respective longevity, you want to respray to have that opening thats just refreshing and breathtaking. But yes, both also have drydowns that are just right.
May i ask how GnTonic compares to your Lhumaniste in terms of that Gin and Tonic vibe as well as overall scent? Looking forward to your reply. Thanks JC
Thank you Edgardo! L’Humaniste is a bit more authentically gin-like to me than GnTonic.
Nothing wrong with basic mainstream frags. Sometimes they are perfect for the situation.

Gntonic smells amazing, but has zero longevity on my skin. Lacoste eau fraiche blanc is a great alternative!
Crab apple blossom is my all time favorite smell. Too bad its overpriced for a tiny bottle

Oh I just got hand on Vibrant vetiver delight (bal de afrique, clone) I can imagine how good hunuman will be!!!
@AZK82 it is sooo good. Bal d'Afrique is great but Hanuman just takes that DNA and runs with it. Projection Sillage etc are phenomenal, and the scent is just heavenly. If I had to choose 1 fragrance for the rest of my life, would be Hanuman

I’m moving to a very hot climate soon and I’ve been wanting to check out L’humaniste per your recommendation. It sounded perfect for super hot weather
L’humaniste is quite nice. You definitely gotta get your nose on it.
What is price of l'hummaniste in the US (discounters) in Europe you can only buy retail for about 190usd as far as I know.

I had GNTonic on my list cause of the citrus mint notes as Burlington is my most favourite ever. How do they compare (specifically the opening as i'm sure Burlington has a more complex dry down compared to the as mentioned ADG dry down of GNTonic) ?

Hey Justin, I wanted your take on wanderlust. There is a 2018 batch release and a 2023. They have different note breakdowns and it seems like the 2023 version is rated differently on parfumo, fragrantica etc. Do you know which one you have?

☆Hey J.C. my guy! Been a minute. Great list, luv that GN Tonic, its a nice no brainer for the heat. I take it along to re-spray. That opening is fizzy and 'ginny-'fresh. I still rock the ELDO You or Someone like you... Also like Juliette has a Gun's Moscow Mule-has a great ginger blast. Frapin L' Humineste (spell?), and Orchid Man work great too. Artilier de Ors'-Blanche P. has a great grapefruit, jasmine, and magnolia that sings in the heat... Much luv to you and that Stay Fresh Crew too♡♡♡☆

How would Gin Tonic compare to Gentle Fluidity Silver?
GFS has a bit more multidimensionality to it than GT. The amber, vanilla, and musk give GFS a different character

I didn't wear a fragrance on a flight to dubai. I boarded and realized I was the only person who didn't bathe in perfume. Everyone smelled great, btw.

Ma'am you are wrong, i;m going to teach you something that will cause all scents to last all day, carry a cotton handkerchief spray a lot on it and i mean a lot fold it and carry it in pocket. open it up wipe face and arms every 30 minutes. men in the early 1900s always carried a hanky and sprayed their cologne on it.
