Movies like this hit a lot of people because it’s exemplifies what true masculinity was when appropriate and now that masculinity been oppressed and the feminine overly exalted rendering no balance in society. The term “toxic masculinity” is thrown about like a bouncy ball at the sight of a man standing for his rights.

@@jeffsandora2708 yes that’s an obvious one brother 🙏 its just that people whom are behind the political corruption are using tactics through suggestive inculcations of oppressing true masculinity and overly exalting and glamorising the feminine. Once you do this it flips the natural polarity dynamic that religion and the prophets propagated and thus ensuing humanity to be in the air and easily manipulated in to further things. Men shouldn’t adopt this propensity every second of the day but when it’s just appropriate and justified but now men are submitting to woman in the household. It’s not the political arena that’s the cause but an effect of what they have suggested to us that we are.
@@RoyAmer-mq5us it begins in your household though and how you deal with situations first as we now have become a micro effect of what the political arena and elite governments have inculcated in our consciousnesses. Back then they already had a set civilisation in Sparta (not perfect to say the least) so they defended that but now this isn’t the case as the corruption has entered our house as it’s in our minds.
They just dont give justice to the real story behind Leonidas. When he went to the oracle they gave him an answer, "Either Sparta bows down to a Persian king or they will Mourne the death of one", Leonidas knew he will die if he faced the Persians but he did it anyway because it was the right thing to do. Thats what's lacking now a days, Men who would stand against evil, no matter the cost.
Thought they went against him cus it was the Olympic year plus when I was reading up says there was always 2 kings not 1 king of Sparta mate .

The evidence that SPARTA ONLY HAS 1 KING is in Homer's "Iliad" and Virgil's "Fall of Troy" where they never mentioned a 2nd king of Sparta but only 1 king and that was Menelaus. Lacedemon was a conglomerate of several towns in the same area of which Sparta was the main town. In ancient Greece both were used interchangeably. Trivia: the L (Λ-Lambda) on their shields comes from: Lacedemon ( Λακεδαιμων )

Leonidas is a symbol of bravery, one of the greatest warrior kings the Greece ever knew thats why his name (Leonidas) means Son of the Lion. Not only that but the whole 300 Spartans were the finest soldiers the world ever known. Free men against a tyrrant, few over many. No prisoners! No mercy!

Leonidas was one of the two kings of Sparta, sparta had always 2 kings since her creation. One king was the diplomat and the other was the war king. The lineage of spartan kings comes from the perseus ancestor of hercules and the twins euristhenes and prokles. Because spartans didn't know which twin came first and the mother queen denied to say since she gave birth alone, spartans decided to ask the pythia oracle, she responded that they must observe which twin the mother always feeds first. They found out that the newborm was euristhenes but later they fought for kingship and to stop the divide of sparta it was decided from oracles euristhenes to be the greater king and prokles the lesser one. Always one king gone to war and the other stayed in sparta. Leonidas was 58 years old when he fought xerxes and he did it during the holiday lf carneia which was forbidden for Spartans to go to war.
