I am from Moscow and we dont have this here. No drug addicts on the street, no homeless slipping on the streets aither, no graphites and so on... I have traveled to many many main European cities like Paris, Rome, Barcelona... And I can tell you for sure, Moscow is a 100 times safer. No one would ever ever bother you but only smile if anything. Moscow has surpassed 99% of European cities in regards to safety, hospitality and service.

About the names. As I understand it, there are two options:
1. Pronounce the name as it sounds in your native language. That is, Маша - Masha.
2. Choose a similar name in English. That is, Маша (Мария) - Mary, Maria, Maree, Marie and so on
