Have lost the tiniest diamond out of my engagement ring. No jewellers would repair it as diamond was too small. Googled how to repair myself and your video came up. It has been a life saver. You wouldn't even know it wasnt a diamond in my ring. Thankyou x
Just popping by here, 6 years later, to say THANK YOU! I was racking my brain trying to figure out how to fill the ONE tiny little spot in my watch where a jewel fell out. Like someone else said, you deserve an award for this! 😄
Thank you for this! I know a hack to prevent it from falling off but had no solution for when this already happened. Hack to prevent jewelery diamonds from falling off: use a thin layer of clear nail polish over the jewelery, make sure it’s not an old/bad nailpolish, or else the diamond will lose its shine. You could also use the nail polish on the sides if concerned about this.
OMG!!!! Thank you soooo much I have a sterling silver wishbone ring that was missing a cz. I haven’t been able to wear it for months. I’m a broke college student who is a baller on a budget then I come across your video and while it took me a while to fix it it now looks great... you can’t even tell! Thanks so much for passing the hack along!
Thank you for the help. Lost the little diamond next the the main stone, replacement is about $200. Tried the foil trick, and though it doesn't sparkle, it filled in the space nicely. Unless someone grabs my hand, to look at the ring, you can not tell by just seeing it on my hand. Great hack!
Wow thankyou , my mum who has now passed away ,gave me her engagement ring when she became ill ,but a stone has been missing for years ,just tried this and it worked perfectly, cant even tell at all .So happy i can now wear it without people commenting on the missed stone ,my mum would laugh and say good on you 😄❤️
Wow! I remembered seeing your video awhile ago when I lost a teeny tiny cz out of a silver ring on Sunday. The stone fell right out of the front! I had a bit of a time getting the aluminum foil small enough, but it worked. I even have a hard time finding it now with my jeweler's loop!
Thank you! This is great solution. You are the only solution I could find which is not about getting a new diamond for the replacement. Thanks! I lost two diamonds already, so I might as well wait till them all fell off then ask my husband to buy me a better one🤣😂
I'm late, but better late than never, right? 😘 Here I thought I invented this...but girl you obviously are pretty slick, too, to have done this! I've had some little diamond cluster rings that I never wore due to stone loss. Tried this trick years ago and never had to replace the missing diamonds because it totally restored the look! No one knows but you 🥰. I was recently repairing a sterling CZ ring ( 3 TINY cz's missing) but it had no open holes in the back of cz's, so I took a pin w a teeeeeny bit of glue on tip, poked the glue in the missing crevice, than pushed in ( with dry pin, no glue on it) to create glue bond and let dry. It can be done on any ring, costume or fine jewelry, just be very careful to not get glue on surrounding stones. I use magnifying glass if that helps 🌹
Omg 😳 it works Thank you so much I lost a diamond out of my wedding ring and my husband just upgraded it for our 20 year anniversary and it was such an eyesore seen the missing diamond and just too expensive right now to fix so thank you so much for your hack
I have 2 3ct rings and on the 4th of July one of my rings flew off my finger across the street. My husband found it and raised hell because I wear them even though there to big. I lost the most expensive one in our yard before too. The jeweler suggested to not size it because the way both are made. They look alike. My husband didn’t realize one of the stones came out and he’s gonna flip if he sees it. I never thought this would happen. I need to do something until I can sneak it to the jewelry store to get fixed.
Thank you! I have a beautiful pendant with missing rhinestones and it’s difficult to find the right size. With aluminum foil, you can’t even tell the difference! Thanks again!
You are AMAZING! just did this on my Apple Watch bezel and it works great!! Can barely tell the difference unless your getting REALLY close in !! Thank you for this video 😁
Thank you! I got a set of three golden bands (yellow, rose and white gold) each of them had a small zirconia in the middle. Recently the stone in one ring was out and the jewelry store asked for €125 for the replacement (I can literally buy a new ring for this money) so I didn’t agree for the repair. Now, with your hack my ring looks perfect and I didn’t spend a euro on it 😁 Thanks again!
WOW REALLY COOL TIP THANK YOU SWEET LADY...I WAS THINKING MAYBE TO GO TO MICHAELS CRAFT STORE, AND BUY A RHINSTONE OR CRYSTAL THE SAME SIZE AND SUPER GLUE IT IN. WHEN ITS TIME TO PURCHASE A REPLACEMENT DIAMOND THE JEWLER KNOWS WHAT TO DO. GREAT TIP THOUGH. SWEET. THANK YOU. I AM SHARING THIS TIP.
Thank you! My 2nd most important ring lost the stone after 23 years. I going to try this til I can get the real thing replaced! It is a small BV stone so It just might work

Such a great video! Lost one of my diamonds today and noticeable that it bothers me. Will try this in interim so I can still wear it!

I've totally done this before! So cool that someone found it too :)

Thank you. !
Thanks!
Just remember to remove the foil as opposing metals can corrode each other.
Actually not true in this case. I did this for years ago and my trying is still perfect and not corroded.
Thanks
Perfect
🙄🤦🤣🤣🤣
Just get a rhinestone from something or break a piece of glass. Or glitter lol
🤣
