A big heart goes out to those that work on Juvi's, I was on and I was glad a program helped me recover and remend.
The judge is really understanding, I wish Evey judge would get to this level of understanding for offences that ought to be actually ended out of court.

I don't know you, but the fact that you feel this way and have the courage to say it tells me that you are brave, aware that all humans have flaws, including you and me, and you must, at least, be trying to be a good man, ("Better is better") kind of gave it away. From what I can tell, he's a good judge, a great roll model and an overall good human being. However, I am fairly certain you didn't need him to teach you how to be those things, because it seems to me that you are capable of becoming them yourself. God Bless.
@@saramae2516 thanks for your kind response Sara. It gets tougher becoming a better person as an adult. I’m a work in progress. We all are. Even the good book admonishes ‘Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it’. Judge Caprio would’ve been a fantastic daddy. I can only imagine his glorious household.
I owe my kids a better life than I had growing up.
Just the fact that you desire to be a better man will give you the strenght to be better.

This judge more than others knows exactly what he is doing. He has the power to bring justice, but upon who? A broken single mom? A mistreated veteran? Where is the point where justice becomes a tyranny? I mean, it's not about punishments, rather about encouragement. Telling somebody that you are sure they can do better. That's what we wanna hear when we screw up and yet, many of these seem like they have got their first kind words of their lives. Justice serves people only when it encourages them to get better. This judge also adds understanding and compassion into his arsenal, making him the ultimate final raid boss of the goodness that lies within people.
There's got to be something different in Judge Caprio. Not sure what it is, but it's there. He's calming.
He has the unique ability to look inside someone and see what kind of person he is dealing with. From there, his is able to make his decision. He is compassionate, fair, and very thorough. I wish he was my father.

The people don't call him "your honor." Lack of respect, especially since he's the "cream of the crop" judge.
So many judges are now crooked and have lost sight of what is justice. "Your honor" is not meant for crooks. This man is an exception.
