My 3 year old GP will switch from play or sleep to a defense mode instantly and will cover over six feet with every bound. She will follow the fence every morning sniffing to see if anything has intruded into her territory. She is a darling gentle dog but, is fierce in her protection of our property and our small rescue dogs. Her primary way of protecting her property is her bark but, she is able to twist the links of a chain link fence with her powerful jaws and would be a formidable foe to any predator stupid enough to climb our fence.
