I like to do the brain dump in one journal I have at my desk, I carry a pocket journal for random ideas, then I have a long form journal for big events and working things out. And I also have a common place book that is nothing but quotes - I like journals! 😃.
You called it perfectly, it needs to be relaxing and something you enjoy doing. Years ago I felt so precious about journals, I felt everything had to be so profound or it didn't deserve to live in my journal, so I barely wrote anything. That is so not the way to be, and when I got over it, journaling became so much more fun and worthwhile. And I agree, don't get a dated journal! It might stress you out.

Great breakdown and showing how you can mix up journal entries. Not only that but making them short and sweet. I was just at Costco and saw the huge Connect 4 game for game night since you mentioned it. They have the No Mercy UNO game out too where you can have someone draw plus 10!
