To be fair, with Pokemon games for decades, not having much if any changes to it's gameplay formula. You'll eventually gain brain rot.

the original forces shouldve made orbot and cuboid the main villains. and they get turned into neo orbot and neo cuboid and overclock all over everyone
Oddly enough this is in forces but very poorly explained or practiced. Infinite is meant to be a foil for the Avatar
@@Emery_Pallas yea its just that they absolutely dropped the ball on Infinite and instead made him into an edgy 14 year old, honestly listen to the instrumental of Infinites theme and imagine him as being silent (because he cant talk through the mask or something) to parallel the silent Avatar and he already feels way more serious
I think it's cool how neo metal and infinite mirror sonic and fan characters' red and blue palette.
The fact that Infinite and Metal both have a similar wrinkle to their dynamic to Sonic and The Rookie, but show how badly it could go if Sonic kept ignoring it, is a cherry on top.
Sonic realizes there's a problem with how he's been treating the situation and as a result devaluing the input of someone he called a friend... and owns up to it and does what he can to ensure he learns from that mistake.
While Metal doesn't outright blame Infinite for any failings, he refuses to accept any greater responsibility for said failings even though he's the one who brought them about, and then dismisses Infinite's concerns as pointless and thus amplifies the friction.

Also, shoutouts to Sega being so chill about mods, hacks, and fanworks, that there is an entire yearly Sonic hacking competition, and the Sonic The Hedgehog account commented on a Sonic X reanimated project.
Sega’s games can be wishy washy in quality, but they understand that Sonic as a brand is carried by the fact it has such a die hard fan base.
Then you got Nintendo which even the mid tier Mario games are still fun but if you so much look at their IPs they will carpet bomb your neighborhood

It took me way too long to realize that the Sand Hill line in the original game might have been a reference to Sand Hill Road, a real place in Silicon Valley that's said to be the new Wall Street for tech startups, maybe a reference to all the robots in the area of Green Hill.

Saltys confusion on Silver being there is justified because theres no way Silver should actually exsist anywhere in current Sonic canon because
- Sonic 06 (Silvers first possible origin) ends with the flame of Solaris getting blown out, which would prevent all the event from 06 from happening (meaning it uncanonized itself and Silver had no reason to come back in time, if he would even exsist in the first place)
- and Sonic Rivals (Silvers second possible origin) clashes with Sonic Rush in the origin of Eggman Nega (Eggmans far decendant from the future in Rivals and Sol Dimension counterpart of Eggman in Rush) and since Rush came out 2 years before Rivals means that also cant be where Silver could come from
Meaning there is no possible way for Silver to serve any purpose in Sonic canon, thank you for coming to my TED-Talk

Salty, please play Project 06. It's a full remaster of Sonic 06, and it makes it actually fun to play. A ton of things were re-worked, like the controls, characters, stages, everything. I don't think it's fully out, but it looks amazing
