IRAN (is not the problem) is a feature length film responding to the failure of the American mass media to provide the public with relevant and accurate information about the standoff between the US and Iran, as happened before with the lead up to the invasion of Iraq.
We have heard that Iran is a nuclear menace in defiance of the international community, bent on "wiping Israel off the map", supporting terrorism, and unwilling to negotiate. This documentary disputes these claims as they are presented to us and puts them in the context of present and historical US imperialism and hypocrisy with respect to Iran.
It looks at the struggle for democracy inside Iran, the consequences of the current escalation and the potential US and/or Israeli attack, and suggests some alternatives to consider.
This 79 minute documentary features Antonia Juhasz (The Bu$h Agenda), Larry Everest (Oil, Power, and Empire), and other activists and Iranian-Americans. The DVD also contains a 20 minute preview version ideal for meetings. The goal of this movie is to promote dialog and change the debate on Iran, so please consider organizing a screening, big or small, in your area.

There are differences of opinion between many of the voices in this film, but all agree that a war would be unjustified. Below are brief video introductions for each of the people who participated.
Needless to say that Brazil is NOT in any way aligned with the US and would NEVER vote favorably to any act of agression against Iran, as it didn't vote for the invasion of Iraq or for any other agression. I don't think India or any other major developing country would do so.
Iranian itself are tired of an old system just like an ordinary American. People today need some changes because of a growing economy crisis. This is the time that people around the world must think and share the good solution to solve the global problems. War,hatred are slowly vanished from the face of the earth. There are still left or right wing but the ordinary people are beginning to use their common sense. Love and peace for all !!
this isn't the point of the video. the point of the video is jsut to state the real intentions of why US foreign policy is the way it is. It does somewhat condemn it, but it also just explains it. ITs raw fucking truth, and yea I think many Americans need this kind of exposure, and not just the Americnas like myself who have been apart of the expat community, and know what's the deal. With us. Any political BS the US does affects rather or not we can even goto certain countries... its a big deal
I think you need to understand something. They had peace for a long time under the Ottoman Empire. This is something that isn't even taught in history classes Now int he early 20th century the Ottoman Empire weakened right after WWI and soo The Allies started taking land in the middle east. And lets thank the British for this. Decided to draw the current borders of the countries we have in the middleeast today. Like all border they draw. they sucked at it and here we are today.
i dont want usa to go to war but i think we should but in the way of support like will bomb and stuff not be on the ground use other countrys for that

LMAO iyahtolla u make me laugh... if u want to compare accomplishments in the middle east, u also have to compare it to Persia... u telling me that little 60yr old israel has accomplised more than persia did over its thousand years rule? persia invented human rights, as well as over 2000 everyday things like spoons, the first evidence of a battery and refrigeration. The persians saved the jews once, dont compare isreal to iran when it comes to contributing to the world... u will loose.
