J stars was such a fun game!! I learned about other anime from it and I liked the concept. I wish the story mode was better tho.

I played this game alot when I had a Vita. Never did online because no one was ever on. I wanted ALOT of DLC for this game

When I use Naruto in my J stars victory vs I also use Lala Deviluke ( To Love Ru )with my fights because her seductive healing is really useful I used her more but I do sometimes use Chitoge because its kinda funny how she slaps the enemy player and that plager goes flying.

@@khaled-kx7vu I got it for my PS4 the first day the game was released and I have already beaten the whole game 3 times. I haven't touched it ever since but the game is still in my library.
Her as a support is rarely viable unless you're playing bots on easy and still getting your ass beat. Also iirc your opponent also gets healed if they step into her healing radius.
You're better off using a support that breaks your opponents combo/aids your own.
Like if I'm fighting someone and they got Lala as a support it's gonna be super easy for me. 💀
All I gotta do is get you in one of my touch of death combos just once or twice & it's a wrap. 💀

@@GAZAMAN93X Yeah I mean most of my fights are won because of her and I play as Naruto, plus most of the time the enemy players wouldn't care about Lala heals they just want for combos and then some times they will go for her heals but most of the time they just keep on attacking and I guess its just luck on using Lala.
this game wasn't perfect it has a lot flaws but it has charm and a roster that featured anime/manga that is unknown to western fans
assassition class room hasn't even been animated yet which is why they have different voice actors .
my biggest gripe in jump force is the roster. where jump force played it safe by giving the main stream franchises more fighters like dragon ball one piece naruto and bleach but I do give jump force for having Ryo Saeba in the roster
Great video. I remember loving J Stars when it first released but it leaves alot of room for improvement.
I wish Namco had made a sequel to J Stars and improved on it, instead of making the boring shallow Jump Force.
A Polish combat system would be cool

When you say "buy the remaining characters," do you mean with actual money or with an in-game currency gained through in-game means?
You earned money in the game to buy character like story mode are just playing and have to level up to get more slots for character

Yeah the intangibility when knocked down was a pretty bad
I only have a ps3 back then and its too expensive then few years was able to play it on the vita now . I will swap a game for this game on ps4. This week. Im still interested in this game.

Yeah, I'd agree the combat itself was only marginally better, but everything else was much better, especially the roster, artstyle, & music.

J-Stars was trash, poorly made by a critical standard.
But it was also really fun to play.
