Some people say that they could get away with overpricing when rarities were still a thing. Just look at what they did with the avatar and coachella skins. They started overpricing the second they removed rarities.

Not to mention, if you go and play STW all the rarities are STILL THERE. Epic is bullshiting us with what they're doing.
I feel like the Midas thing can be logical but they just didnt bother diving into it. He could control his powers just fine as a living person, but after his traumatizing death, the forceful removal of his hand from a certain collector, and being a trapped damned soul in the underworld endlessly tortured for his sins, itd be safe to say he kinda broke. He lost his cool and his gold touch began affected everything outside of his control like the mythos hes based on. This would explain his reactivity, turning more and more gold himself the more he lets himself run loose. Alternatively a much more simple explaination is that his golden touch powers came from his soul, hed bring his soul close to the surface of his skin to convert things to gold, but because Ascendant Midas is just his soul only, it has no barrier to protect from turning everything to gold. This, in turn, would explain his need for those gauntlets. Either option would be a good explanation. Better than nothing at least.
It’s funny that I literally commented that removing WOULD make bundles more expensive and got so many haters saying I’m wrong. Now here we are, where the beginning of this video literally points out the prices of both the Avatar and Coachella.
8:00 the part that people used the double sniper because they were so fast to equip and aim and have more than one bullet is forgot to mention as you like them, they were more OP than usual sniper and as suddenly all weapons have bullet fall they were the more easy to use because they always had and people were used to it. And we are not talking about the new scope with the bigger zoom in the history of the game...

Rarities were removed, but series weren’t, and tbh that’s alright as long as the series stay.
Epic is shady, I'd say when they keep removing the creator you choose to support with the support a creator feature without saying anything so they don't have to pay them. That should be lawsuit worthy for sure.

Man the NPC ghost thing has helped and hurt me so many times this season 😂
It’s help me find enemies who are hiding but it’s also led enemies right to me when I had a hired NPC die 😅
HOWEVER, if you go too far from the ghost, it will walk back, or teleport back to it's original spot . I had that done to me by Artemis quite often if she was killed first

Another change I noticed is that all mini-battle passes are becoming less worth it to complete without buying them, now when you complete them you get a pickaxe or an instrument, this and not making them part of the fortnite crew is honestly stupid now that we are getting them regularly with the Fortnite Festival mode

Small shield bubbles are way better so that you can pop them close range and your enemies are less likely to be inside the normally huge bubble.

I do like how Fortnite has decided to start adding melee weapons every season, season OG and chapter 4 season 4 (unless you count the mythic kinetic blade) being the only exception.

I think the reason why midas couldn't control his gold touch anymore was because his died and since when the characters died in the game they forget their memories so maybe whenever midas comes back (or when epic wants him back for that money) we'll have quests to help midas remember some of his memories but that's just a theory

Overpricing was really hard. I didn't buy any skins and I'm still trying to get some V-Bucks. The rarities were vital to have and I loved how it was organized.

The Cache system never bothered me too much. The only few things I kinda hated about them was they did take a bit to open up and there was a possibility that you could steal someone else’s, not that that’s bad or anything but sometimes i found it did lead to getting contested sometimes when doing so, and the loot was was never too bad I just felt like the rarities and when they’d drop, and I was finding myself have to get into these moments where I have to just make do with whatever it spits out, but I can’t say it’s all that bad because sometimes I’d have some interesting plays using the loot from the caches especially with a group of friends.

Also, bundles havent changed price at all, the skin is 1200, and the picaxe 800, thats pretty normal, and you would usually buy both right? I prefer it this way.
Also, I dont see much of a problem with the battle pass vbucks being pushed into, what is essentially, the other half of the battle pass. Playing all the modes, even just casually, has still set me in the mid 200's. BR, Lego, and Save The World are the fastest at building up your exp from official maps as an even halfway decent BR game can get you at least 60k exp with accolades, quests, and all sorts of other bonuses. You get a guaranteed 30k exp every maybe 25-45 minutes of active play in Lego Fortnite in both survival and sandbox. And while STW is behind an access pack you have to pay for initially unless you already have it, every mission has varying levels of length that can be either short or long that will reward you with plenty of exp per completion, especially if you work to do all the bonus objectives to boost the level of the loot chest at the end.
And thats just the official game modes, theres plenty of creative gamemodes to play that can reward various amounts of exp just for playing. The one I played all season to skyrocket me has been Lumberjack Heroes cause the Midas Tree and Prestige accolades they have give like 20+k exp for activating them. It obviously diminishes the more you use them in a set period of time, but they are still great boosts nonetheless. Its also just a really fun game if you like watching numbers go up.

Here’s another fact as well did u ever realise that Brutus is still on the character list but you can’t find him in game only on the character chart
You know how in the OG season you have to level up to like level 70 in a month to get 1000 vbucks after spending 950
I did a quick count and you need to get to level 140 to get all the V-bucks in the Battle Pass and the Bonus Rewards
They left half the rarity system so we could find skins easier. Like that's what we used the rest of the colors for. They needed to add a color for collabs.

I absolutely despise the new ui. Everything about it is not fortnite. Where did the iconic blue theme go. Not just aesthetics but its systematically worse. Who thought it was a good idea to separate emotes and wraps from skin presets. Why does the ui feel heavier and confusing to navigate. Why did they move the voicechat tab + settings to the right side of the screen. Why did they ruin shop so that every time you go in, the order of items are randomly rearranged. Epic keeps making these unwanted, unnecessary, and game ruining changes and im genuinely confused.
