    Hey Everyone!
    This is my review of the Boa 90mm Hatchlings Longboard wheels. They were a very fast wheel that accelerated well and maintained their speed. They felt like they rolled for ages, and were so soft and comfortable to ride. Overall a very fun wheel!
    Check out these 2 races of me skating with them!

    85 oranga cags are my absolute FAVORITE wheel as a eboarder. most eskaters dont ride thane let alone 85mm. both orange n blue are incredible. best formula, most predictable, low center gravity, very durable and comfortable . i got the 74a white 90mm boas. they are right behind the blue 77a caguama. i like how the boa is a TINY bit bigger but i still prefer orangatang a LITTLE more . that being said, i recently bought the yellow 76a. i gotta do a video about 85 caguamas and then the boa 76a yellows.

    How does comfort/rough road compare to 77a 85mm blue Caguamas?

      @linpaul  Před 11 měsíci

      Oooooh those V3s look dope tbh.
      And they’re way more comfortable than the blue cags tbh. A lil more bounce and speed to them too. And way more durable.

    I had these wheels but I thought they were too heavy so i sold them

    • @linpaul
      @linpaul  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Valid! They are in fact on the heavier side! But you know what they say, heavier wheels needs stronger legs!

    Great review! If u had only one choice of wheels between the 80a caguama & hatchlings, which will u choose?

    • @linpaul
      @linpaul  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Oooooh great question, the hatchlings are def very fast. But I’d probably pick the 80a Otang Cags just because those are more comfortable for my riding style.
      It’s kinda hard to beat my favs..

    Curious as to how the following DU 90mm Hatchlings would compare i.t.o range:
    1) 90mm (74a)
    2) 90mm (76a)

    • @linpaul
      @linpaul  Před 5 měsíci +1

      I'm not really sure how the range would compare but i believe on paper the harder 76a has more range.

    How have the Hatchlings held up? Any chipping, chunking or premature wear and tear>

    • @linpaul
      @linpaul  Před 6 měsíci +1

      The core randomly cracked a couple months later, and Boa sent me a new set. But I did see it in friends wheels too, they weren’t ridden particularly hard, it was like a freak occurrence.

      @@linpaul Cheers for the reply... I purchased a set based on your review and got V3's... On my first session I had big splits, and slices on the inner lips. For perspective I was skating the exact same path I have for decades without any problem on other wheels. On my second session they chunked. Boa did send me a replacemet set (props to them), however these sell for $200.00 in Australia which is right up there. Now I'm not so sure whether I should keep them and give them a second chance or sell them and get another 90mm'ish wheel that is more durable.
      1. How have your replacement set and friends set held up?
      2. Other than the 80a Cags (which I have too), what other wheels would you or have you seriously considered that meet your criteria of speed, grip and durabilty?

    • @linpaul
      @linpaul  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Hey dawg, I’m sorry to hear about that! That’s really awful!
      1) I haven’t opened my replacements yet bc I’ve been riding 97s and 110s for training recently, but my friends’ have seemed to have held up.
      2) For other 90ish wheels there’s the Abec 11 Refly, the Cloudride Hurricanes, the seismic MegaWattz, and Pantheon Karmas. I’ve heard great things about all of those but I’d probably recommend the Karmas bc I’ve tried them and liked their grip, and they’re very fast while still being light.
