I believed that the real use of knowledge is for the good of mankind. Can we just be proud of being Filipino because of our diligent students. Kailangan lang talaga ng monetary/financial support ng govt.natin as well as exposure sa maraming learners dahil sobrang lawak ng mundo ng science and medicine. Kaya naman talaga nating mga Pinoy ang sumabay sa husay at galing ng ibang lahi, magtulungan lang talaga.

I studied nursing here in Thailand, in our anatomy class, we did study real cadavers. Before that, we offered prayer and thanks for giving us the opportunity to use their bodies for study. We call them “Ajarn”, stands for Professors.

Salute sa mga competent na doctors. Dun sa sa pabaya, mukhang pera at incompetent, eh baka deserve nga kasuhan kung proven naka disgrasya sila. Expect na mahirap talaga yan, even the NMAT kasi yang mga yan buhay hinahawakan nila. Doble ingat talaga yan Kumpara sa ibang licensed professionals. Wag mo din sisihin mga complainants. Not everyone is meant to be a doctor. If you possess the skills, psychological, physical and mental capacity you will survive.

I am a fan of reading anatomy but I just can't imagine myself dissecting a cadaver like this. Thank you Ma'am Mav, I witness team and UP CM for producing another top=notched documentary. It's an awesome rather than a creepy video. Respect for the dead was evident. More power Doctors!
Ito yung documentary ng IWitness na kinalibutan ako, kakaiba pero ang laki ng Help sa awareness ng community especially sa mga pag aaral ng Health. SObrang ganda ng pagkakagawa, thank you Mam Mav Gonzales and IWItness Team. This is the most incredible medical documentary with relevance to cadaver i have ever seen. As someone who is studying close proximity to cadavers, it is extremely fascinating to witness what is inside us, the science of it all, and how a real anatomy is structured. Medical school are for the though students and they have to adore science in the first place. UP medschool is definitely world class! Thank you I-Witness for this magnificent in-depth coverage.

I remembered my freshman year in Medicine. We were the ones as a group dissecting and our professors were guiding us through the anatomy as we dissect so that we take care not to accidentally cut or destroy any important structures. Our time with our silent mentors was an experience and the knowledge we gained that we carried throughout our career as Physicians. I, a training Pathologist, the experience and knowledge that we learn from them would help us in our gross examination of surgical specimens and most especially in the practice of autopsy.

It is so cool to be a silent mentor, i am encouraged to donate my body for research and educational purposes kapag namatay din ako. They are indeed very helpful sa med students at sa society na makikinabang sa mga aspiring doctors na ito na tinitiis yung kilabot at sikmura for the sake of learning medicine.

I remember when I was in College kahit na nursing ang course namin we have that kind of exposure during our anatomy class. Iba talaga kapag naexpose ka tatatak sa isip mo lahat ng body parts at mas easy sya pag-aral together with the books mas maiimagine mo at maappreciate ang bawat parts from skin to bone.

I graduated from U.P medical school for 4yrs and got a scholarship in NYU medical science school of technology . I probably went through 7 cadaver wearing proper uniform .

I just love watching this kind of documentaries! Me having been into medical allied studies also had the opportunity to study cadavers during my med school and this is a tool where aspiring doctors, nurses, physical therapists and the like can accumulate knowledge to hone their crafts in the future and use them on their practice. I wish that each medical school will have the equal chance to have enough specimens in order for their students to study thoroughly the human anatomy.

Going on a tangent, just want to say thanks to Dr Pipo Bundoc for having taught me musculoskeletal anatomy back in medschool. (The future impact of which is now quite evident, as can be seen in my own operative teaching videos.) Thank you sir for continuing to share your knowledge & vision through the years.

Thank you for this wonderful experience, even though I only see it virtually, the remains of these once human beings, like us who lived long ago, have a significant part of our “soon” journey as medical students and the future science and medicine. Through God and His diligent vessels who paved the way from “taboos”, this became possible. May we cherish our bodies and thank our creator for every second/hour we are alive. Yung tipong hindi mo kailangan iexplain sa kanila detailed by detailed na kaylangan nila pag-aralan yung human body bagkos mabilis nila naadopt yung composition of being a Med Students para mas mapalawig yung idea at pagkakaintindi nila pagdating sa human body/anatomy
