The only rules in art I can think of are “don’t steal from other people”, “don’t pass off someone else’s work as your own” and “don’t eat the art supplies unless you are sure it is safe”.

I actually found your brushes a while back while I was scrolling on gum road! They have helped me in multiple paintings! I wanted to thank you for being a live saver as drawing all of the books would have been so painful

Wait that’s such a smart brush. I usually roll my eyes at pattern brushes but these give a nice template that you can use as is or dress up with more details without the monotony of drawing individual rectangles

I recognized the brushes at the time bc digital art prof showed some of your free brushes to us a while back, she praised them quite highly! They seriously make environments so much easier and feel so stylized and pretty :)

You can also make custom brushes in real life using stencils, paper cutouts, different materials, etc. The only thing limiting you is literally just creativity.

I like how theyre lineless. I find a lot of brushes like this tend to be over detailed, which makes it harder to use with simplier styles or look a bit cluttered. The lineless style also gives room for people to do their own rendering over top, like you said! Honestly such a versatile brush!
