I had the GREAT HONOR TO MEET Brig Gen. Steve Ritchie during an air show at Love Field in Dallas, TX. He flew a commemorative restored General Dynamics Phantom at the show. He had Brigadier General Schulstad with him. I stood in the heat for two hours on the tarmac JUST TO SHAKE HIS HAND. I have his picture, his story and one big hand shake and hug from someone who cared personally about my freedom and safety. He went on to be a Senator in Colorado. May we continue to have men of his caliber and integrity to protect our country and our precious Constitution. Forever may our US flag wave.

This man, this warrior, this ACE , this hero is just such an inspirational man! Our country has been fortunate to produce men like this. But political correctness and the gradual loss of personal freedoms stiffles the idea of individualism. If we cannot be free to use our imaginations and face adversity on our on, we will fail as a nation. America must continue to be a land of opportumnity, to both susceed and to fail. His words should be heeded.
