I would say that the animation for the athena curse is more of a like heartful feeling in a sense and the skeleton curse is just outright cool as hell
The animation didn't happen properly because he was wearing ghost curse you're supposed to see your skin burn off down your hand.

While flamehearts ritual just feels like your ready to go beat some heads
I agree with the animated NPCs. I've always wished there was more movement at the outposts. Like people lugging crates back and forth from places.

I like how they give you the look of two of the most common annoyances you'll come across, skellies and phantoms. Now all we need is an Ocean Crawler curse then the trifecta is complete.

Ok, but hear me out, I've encountered over 100 Ocean Crawlers, and only about 10 Sirens over the past week.
An ocean crawler curse would be nuts! But it'd need some cool af barrier of entry and tons of sunken cosmetics

For anybody who knows or was on stream, how many sinks did it take him to hit level 100? I know at the beginning it says they're 106-6 but that was just for the sloop. I don't know if he got other allegiance value on other ships. Thanks

I got Athena's Blessing the other day and, thanks to Captaincy Week, I am well on my way to Skeleton Curse. I'm less interested in the curse as I am the Lair, because man, does it look impressive as hell. It honestly makes the Pirate Legend Hideout pale in comparison, if I'm being honest.
Ok the athena's blessing ritual is cool with the handshake synching to the song but you cant top this with flameheart's shadow
I think Athena still has the better curse cus u can use your own cloths over the top of it u cant with the skelly one. But the reapers lair is way cooler than what Athena got im not sure witch ceremony i preferred out of the 2 but i think deep down i preferred the Athena one just based on the fact iv been playing the game since beta and i have more attachment to Athena than reapers

I played for 2 months, quit for 2 years, saw that there was a skele curse, came back, grinded for a few months and got it a couple of weeks ago, never been so satisfied over a game cosmetic for whatever reason

How long does it took you to get the curse
I really like this curse and i want it but I'm not good with the normal pvp and so pvp in a restricted area is far more annoying for me, well at least we don't have to deal with the match making from the beginning where you could encounter a galleon as a Sloop.
