A nice side to immersing yourself in a surrounding where lots of mixed forest trees dominate the landscape, is that those trees create super oxygenated zones.
I lived in a forest once, (my profile pic was my home) along with the long Arctic nights, and the pure silence from snow, l would sleep so deep, and awoke so refreshed each day, l realised just how much we carry just walking through our life.

Absolutely gorgeous spot! Very cool that Aunt Cindy enjoyed it with you. I’m partial to the forested places. I get the best of both worlds when I visit Camden, Maine. Their slogan is “Where the mountains meets the sea”. At the state park, you can stand in a white pine forest & stare at the ocean. If you time it right, raspberries & blackberries. I grew up about two miles away as the crow flies. Used to go there a lot with my buddy when it was still private property and you could fish there. The Lewis river is beautiful and I miss living there.
What beautiful scenery and a nice little waterfall that you finally got to see. At first it looked like a rapids area but you need to see the waterfall to appreciate the beauty. And now you are in your 25th state. Good traveling and keep the good content coming.

Make sure you make it to the Olympic side of the Mountain. Ruby Beach ,quinalt river is one of the most beautiful clear and prettiest blue. The Olympic side is my favorite.

I like Washington pretty good when I was there had an aunt lived in Spokane and visited Seattle beautiful city but my favorite is the mountains Mount Rainier the Cascades and the Canadian border much better than Oregon or California 👍🐝
