Yeah it's confirmed that we can play it in Japanese with English subtitles. It will sound more authentic and the Japanese language sounds cool and charismatic, especially when it involves samurai.

I love love love love the honest and sincere cinematic take on the Samurai genre. No supernatural thing, no flashy combat, no HUDs charting combos and stuff. Just samurai and his world. Beautiful.

Velites Not so much a 'downgrade" as this is just a small section of a larger game, so this concept demo can put all it's effort and power into the graphics of this little chunk of game. We won't see what the game really will look like till we see a HUD on it...that and we get much closer to the actual release.

Not sure 4.2 TF PRO will render that type of environment with all the compute power needed to duplicate that last fight scene with all the leaves interacting with the characters and all the particle effects in the back ground. Looks like a classic case of maxed out settings the console won't be able to duplicate. Hope I'm wrong though.
Ghost of Tsushima is absolutely outstanding I cannot get enough of it, those graphics are gorgeous love the fighting it’s so satisfying. I have completed a few missions and unlocked a lot of stuff outfits and katanas. Just mostly exploring the map doing side missions, Sucker Punch have done an amazing job with this game. Pure awesomeness 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Jin's running animation is very a obvious lore based change they made from full swining arms to lightly holding his stomach as he runs as samurai minimized exertion to reserve stamina.
Ghost of Tsushima and Sekiro have great similarities but what really separates them apart is this...ghost of Tsushima is based on real life on the history of the Mongolian invasion on Japan’s Tsushima island.where as Sekiro is heavily based on Japanese mythology and folklore during the Sengoku period.Both are amazing games

Yeah I think superpowers would really butcher this game.. I want it to be as realistic in terms of fighting as possible. I love how the swordplay looks in this game, not a clunky mess but all about precision.

This is "the Conspirator" side mission in act 2, what we see in the e3 trailer is the same( except for the mongol models). I even got the same outfit in the trailer after completing the legendary side quest "six blades of kojiro"
So does anyone notice how the man standing on the tree at the beginning is playing the instrument from the show, when jin get's close he nods and when he starts playing again his music becomes the overworld music? Truly masterful, Suker Punch you guys made art with this game.
Well observed *fleeplayTV* i will absolutely be playing this game in the future, and it looks like you can choose to crouch when ever you want which really makes me sad and fustrated about Assassin's Creed games where you have to go into grass to be able to crouch and that is such a HUGE missing part of AC not being able to go into stealth. I did notice that, but I second guessed myself wondering if that really happened or it was a coincidence. I thought it was impressive with all the taxing things going on with the environment that they still included subtle touches like an NPC nodding when you got within a certain distance, but then it seemed to incorporate him into the music as well.
I knew this game was going to be everything I ever asked for once I saw this at E3. It’s 2023 now and I got the platinum trophy 4 times on different accounts, I’ll do it again and again. This game is flawless. I love how it lived up to the hype.

AC was never really a game with stealth as the main focus don't get the complaints. The stealth showed in this game so far is something you can do in any AC game.

Believe it or not folks what really impressed me and still continue to do is the “ one hit stand off death move “ at the precise moment the enemy makes an attempt to strike at the Jin he also strikes at them with that finishing death blow...it’s like they were exchanging sword strikes but Jin already knows where to strike the enemy for that instant death kill.and right after the enemy falls the other nearby enemies looks at Jin with a terrifying fear before they try to attack him.I have never seen that in a video game before... I especially in real time.

Im playing this on my ps4 pro 4k hdr tv setup and ive gotta say the team have done well to match this level of details across the game. Its like a solid 80% of the way there - what I didnt expect on top of that is how quick this thing loads up!

Just played this mission today. Funny how the context was changed for the trailer. The mission is called “The Conspirator”. I immediately recalled this trailer from two years ago when the monk gets scathed by Masako’s arrow
So many things changed, details and animations missing in the final game. Stand off looks better, enemy design looks better, movement animation during combat looks better. Here you can chop of limbs, spears with regular attacks. Smooth gameplay without any stance changing that slows down gameplay. The takedown near the gate also missing.
Combat in the final game is MUCH smoother and higher quality than the demo. You can also chop of limbs in the release (Ghost stance, Dance of Wrath) and can chop off heads (slaughter). Stance changing allows much more intricate and skill-based combat where you an chain together different attacks and stances to create your own combat style. Yes, some things got downgraded graphics-wise and I much prefer the standoff in the demo than release, but all of the upgrades vastly outweigh the downgrades.
There's no such thing as a realistic game. A vidya gayme can never truly be "real". You might achieve a certain level of authenticity as far as settings, themes, and attention detail (in a historical context), but even the most advanced milsim is not realistic.
I've remember when i saw E3 with this part of the game...I've said no way the game would look like this...Man, i love xbox and i love switch but when it comes to this the expectations were ok to HIGHER in 5 seconds when the game was launched...man,what a piece of art!

Onimusha, soo underrated, but it was an amazing series. Dawn of Dreams was awkward for me after the Deflect Critical and Chain Critical got nerfs (where you can almost one-shot any Genma). If they do remaster, I also want Genma Onimusha (think of as the Kingdom Hearts Final Mix series but for xbox only) to be part of the remaster as well.
The awesome thing is that this isn't even the way of the 'ghost' the game synopsis talks about. It's just the regular samurai stuff. Can't wait to see it.

RoastingKid69 It's kind of telling from the trailer we got last year. Towards the end after he's asked "Do you surrender?" You can see all of his traditional samurai garbs burning away as he embraces that more dark way of fighting - the way of the ghost. I think they talk about it during the press interview from last year as well.

Gotta agree. TLOU looked amazing. The animation, lighting, and mechanics were all incredibly well crafted. This is on par if not better. That's a huge accomplishment for any company to rank amongst Naughty Dog. Story wise, Sucker Punch better bring their A-game cause we all know ND will.

Yeah, that was a pretty interesting take on a fighting game. Gave it a rent one time, been such a long time only thing I remember is you could kill quickly. If I remember correctly, the fighters didn't have a life meter like in Streetfighter II or Mortal Kombat.
Big mistake by Ubisoft, Origins was great and still felt like an AC game, they should have continued the story of Bayek. Odyssey feels too much like a gladiator/warrior game. Might as well have Leonidas the main character.
The horse running across the fields is one of the most beautiful moments I've ever seen in any game.

I knew this game was going to be everything I ever asked for once I saw this at E3. It’s 2023 now and I got the platinum trophy 4 times on different accounts, I’ll do it again and again. This game is flawless. I love how it lived up to the hype.

AC is a RPG now, stealth is put aside you can tell by AC origins grinding, in the begining you are a ninja, in the late game you are a barbarian
AC was never really a game with stealth as the main focus don't get the complaints. The stealth showed in this game so far is something you can do in any AC game.

Believe it or not folks what really impressed me and still continue to do is the “ one hit stand off death move “ at the precise moment the enemy makes an attempt to strike at the Jin he also strikes at them with that finishing death blow...it’s like they were exchanging sword strikes but Jin already knows where to strike the enemy for that instant death kill.and right after the enemy falls the other nearby enemies looks at Jin with a terrifying fear before they try to attack him.I have never seen that in a video game before... I especially in real time.

Without a doubt, Ghost of Tsushima & Insomniac’s Spider-Man titles are my favorite PS4 exclusives; they’re also the only PS4 exclusives that I’ve actually played.

Im playing this on my ps4 pro 4k hdr tv setup and ive gotta say the team have done well to match this level of details across the game. Its like a solid 80% of the way there - what I didnt expect on top of that is how quick this thing loads up!

So many things changed, details and animations missing in the final game. Stand off looks better, enemy design looks better, movement animation during combat looks better. Here you can chop of limbs, spears with regular attacks. Smooth gameplay without any stance changing that slows down gameplay. The takedown near the gate also missing.
I love the game but I do wish they didn’t go for the cartoony art style and kept realism like in this trailer.
Combat in the final game is MUCH smoother and higher quality than the demo. You can also chop of limbs in the release (Ghost stance, Dance of Wrath) and can chop off heads (slaughter). Stance changing allows much more intricate and skill-based combat where you an chain together different attacks and stances to create your own combat style. Yes, some things got downgraded graphics-wise and I much prefer the standoff in the demo than release, but all of the upgrades vastly outweigh the downgrades.

There's no such thing as a realistic game. A vidya gayme can never truly be "real". You might achieve a certain level of authenticity as far as settings, themes, and attention detail (in a historical context), but even the most advanced milsim is not realistic.

Onimusha, soo underrated, but it was an amazing series. Dawn of Dreams was awkward for me after the Deflect Critical and Chain Critical got nerfs (where you can almost one-shot any Genma). If they do remaster, I also want Genma Onimusha (think of as the Kingdom Hearts Final Mix series but for xbox only) to be part of the remaster as well.
We have 5 Onimusha games, and now 3 Japanese Samurai-esque games, do we really need another Onimusha?

Chris Watson Basically it's him setting aside his code of honor as a samurai and just going all out. Kind of like how soliders used to stand in lines when they fought and then started using guerilla warfare.

RoastingKid69 It's kind of telling from the trailer we got last year. Towards the end after he's asked "Do you surrender?" You can see all of his traditional samurai garbs burning away as he embraces that more dark way of fighting - the way of the ghost. I think they talk about it during the press interview from last year as well.

Yeah, that was a pretty interesting take on a fighting game. Gave it a rent one time, been such a long time only thing I remember is you could kill quickly. If I remember correctly, the fighters didn't have a life meter like in Streetfighter II or Mortal Kombat.

Big mistake by Ubisoft, Origins was great and still felt like an AC game, they should have continued the story of Bayek.
