    Chetna, I tried this yesterday and wanted to drop by and thank you for amazing dish! It was an absolute delight, and the aromas....woah! Also, I added 1 tbsp of chilli powder instead of 1 tsp :D but totally didn't mind since you had yogurt in the recipe + kashmiri chilli powder is chill. thanks again for introducing me to this goodness

    Oh my goodness ... I could smell those spices, and adding ginger/garlic to frying onions is one of my favourite smells! I'm definitely trying this, as I already know I need to eat this with buttery parathay!

    Thanks Chetna. It looks gorgeous! 1 Question here tho'. While you're boiling the potatoes. Didn't you add salt to the water? I saw you added some to the yoghurt but I wonder if they're not gonna end up lacking saltiness within.

    May I ask - why are the spices dry roasted as opposed to fried?

      Dry roasting releases the oils from the spices to get most flavour

      Hello dear, those are the "normal" dried red chillis.
      Kashmiri dried red chillis are a bit bigger and their skin is having "wrinkles":)
