The host is disgusting Firstly he is not letting the guest speak and he's only trying to show India in bad light even the guest seems to be irritated by the constant criticism on india

I came to watch this interview because I am interested in knowing more about Aly Khan. What an interesting life having lived in so many cultures. In my opinion, he's an Indian. He spent the most crucial years of his life in India and one can resonate indian values in what he speaks.

Yes old India was secular, it was great. But today's India is even worse than what the host says..
Here we actively boycott SRK & Aamir only because of their religion. SRKs son was targeted and had to spend 1 month in jail, despite no drugs found on him. There are groups who spread campaigns against Bollywood because they are too liberal, secular.
Loved hearing the balanced view about India, and also about Pakistan. He credited his ustaad Hema jee, but also brought up the ill-hidden ways in which Indian Muslims are harassed and treated like 2nd class citizens. There are lots of truly nice Indians, but sadly, so many get scared of the racist mobs and caste-obsessed fundamentalists. We Pakistanis should not pat ourselves on the back though. We also have work to do, to help minorities and stand up for them. Basically, both countries have very similar problems so the best thing any decent person can do is to fear God and try to have some courage in their own personal lives. As a practising Muslim, I truly wish both countries peace and prosperity. This is what my Deen teaches me. To just let each other live and find common ground. I´ve met lots of Indians, of different attitudes. Bass khauf-e-Khuda bahot zuroori hai, aur sab ka ehtaraam. Jo racist hai, usse bass apne haal pe choor den. Racist hona, aur nafraten paalna khud mein aik bad-naseebi hai.
Bhai tum logon ka dimag kabhi seedha nahi ho sakta. India ka jo secularism tha, wo tum soch bhi nahi sakte.
Aur yahin baat Aly bhi bol raha hai. Magar tum sunte wohin ho jo sunna chahte ho.

On Dilip Kumar & Bal Thackeray :
Dilip Kumar & Bal Thackeray were very good friends till 90s.
In 90s babri masjid happened, then there was Mumbai blasts, then riots.
Dilip Kumar despite being friends with Thackeray, criticized Shiv Sena's role in the riots. This was what spoiled their relationship - politics, not religion.
Then Dilip Kumar was joint petitioner in a case in which shiv sena was opposing love scene between two women. This further deteriorated their relation.
But Dilip Kumar did do movies till 98-99. What the host here said might be true - because there does seem a small gap after 90-91 for a few years.
He was being wheelchaired because of his age, not because 'India turned him into a vegetative state'.
When he died, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray himself gave him state funeral.
That's wrong.Dilip kumar was much loved and desired and respected in India.

The host is making up lies, Dilip worked all throughout the 80s, untill the early 90s, he did a few films in the late 90s but his health was not keeping up, a lot of his films were shelved due to this, he was member of parliament from 2000-06, India is easily the best place for Muslims as minorities,.yes there can be political tensions between Hindus and Muslims but 1000 years history of islamic invasion cannot be erased, Muslims in India are hundred times more secure, have more democratic rights politically, socially and educationally than Hindus in Pakistan whom most have been ethnically cleansed and live miserable lives in interior Sindh. Dilip Kumar and bal Thackeray were infact very close friends, it was Thackeray that pushed Dilip to enter mainstream politics.

Why do people idolise Srk.. Volume isn't good.. India has a huge budget for films but Pakistan with its limited budget is still doing well. ..love that quality. Agree Aly Khan.. The most disturbing interviewer ever I have seen. It seems like he interviewed by alyy, his ego didn't let him to interview to alyy in respected way.
