I was raised by a single parent, my mom. And, let me just say, it was MY mom who invented the "Death Ray" stare -- it wasn't a villain in one of those super hero movies. It was my mom. I could be across the room from her and if I was misbehaving, she would give me the "Death Ray" stare and I would freeze in my tracks. She didn't have to say anything -- she just needed to give me those eyes!

She raised you well. I am single mum with a 19 yr old son who lost his father when he was 7 yrs. So I connect with your mom.
