- Ingredients! Goat meat ½ kilo+. 1 md & 1 small sz onions, half garlic, 1 ½ inch ginger, 2 turnips, lot of green chillies. Tomato 1 md sz and lot of fresh coriander. Salt 1ts full, 1ts red chilli powder, 1ts coriander powder, ½ ts cumin seeds and ½ ts turmeric. Cooking oil 1/3rd cup. If you don't have a pressure cooker, add more water cover and cook on md heat till tender. its just that it takes longer
Goes well with rotis/pulkas

i tried it day befor yesterday, my husband only eats meat thats is y i try to make vegetabl wid meat, and this is first time i made shaljam gosht and he liked it, thanks to Allah and then u, u know shaadi say phely mujhy khana pakana nahi aata tha and i dont live in join family so there is no one to teach me how to cook. internet is my sourc of learning and ur channle is best for me, thanks alot

When u add shaljam add pinch or two pinch of sugar or ghoar in it
It reduce shaljam s topical smell and good for digestive system.
This tips was used by my grandmother in Punjab.

I crushed ginger but added garlic whole, because garlic is going to be in a paste form when cooked in pressure but ginger doesn’t mix.

Nice recipe. My grandmaa added about a teaspoon of sugar in the end. Never the less your recipe is very nice.

Salam baji I'm so afraid to use pressure cooker I have never used one can i make it in regular pot. I have tried many of your recipes big fan of the way you explain things sounds so nurturing MA. Please do reply this is what I will be making today thanks. Ps..I don't have pressure cooker I hear that it makes life easier but still out of all the appliances that's is one thing I have never brought. So please do let us know how to go about making recipes w/o pressure cooker.
Start pressure heist heat; make sure that if its a gas stove then flame stays only at the bottom of the pot. Open cooker and turn-on high heat. Dry water add oil on high, add vegetable and water. Pressure on thigh heat, but if cooking vegetables without pressure then keep it on low to medium heat.

It tastes good too! Runny shorba of shaljam gosht always has a typical scent. A little bad, a little bitter but this one doesnt. Please try!

sorry for the dumb question but i never use yogurt when cooking a meat curry, just the way iv been taught to cook i guess but why do people add it? should it only be used in more of a bhuna curry rather than a slightly watery curry?

kapre se dhak ker kisi germ jagah main rakh dete hain jab double ho jaye to roti si bana li.

My mother puts little sugar in Salgam gosht too which makes it very tasty.
Tinde gosht is made just like aaloo gosht! Take that recipe
For tinde gosht! We don’t get tinda here that’s why I couldn’t make them. Frozen are not the same at all!

us main ginger aur hari mirach naheen dalte. dikhne main wo kafi aisa he ho ga, garha sa. baqi sab waisa he. gol kaddo ziyadah ho ga, ziyadah dalta hai samjho 5 shaljaon jitna, pak ker zara sa reh jata hai.
palak bhindi theek hai, lauki hard ho jati hai thora taste main bhi ferq perta hai. bhindi kaat ker freez karo. shaljam kiye naheen kabhi gobhi ghul jaye gi jaldi ager frozen pakao gi, waise ker sakte hain. kachi ka bata rahi hoon

Yogurt is used in pasande, qormah and biryani. I haven’t created these recipes that’s how they were created. Person to person can alter them to their likings but me teaching authentic and basics cannot do that. that’s how we lose traditional taste.

meetha kaddu is not a vege to be cooked with meat. cook it fijian way or look at butternut recipe of mine. i am not sure if i have shown the other pakistani recipe on youtube or not. bur will do that some day.

bajia ji the vegetables you are using is swede not turnip. its similar but turnip has thin smooth skin and light flesh. turnip is sweeter too. try the two different vegetables and see the difference. great recipe nevertheless.
