It’s great to see flies being tied for the lochs and not the cabinets, I got the cape as well 👍
Thanks Robert
Stunning the badger hackle makes it look completely different to a standard Zulu pattern
Not only is it a cracking shade Stevie,I think the badger looks better than a solid single colour on that fly.Well spotted bit Wullie, Ill need to get one of those capes...👍
Certaintly a good one for the wets Jimmy eh. I'm thinking on a cruncher for the lake sometimes blue works well there
It should do well on the Lake, just thinking back to the Blue Doo lol
Try those hackles on bumbles instead of blue jay, nice zulu , cheers
I will do Arthur
I Saw Wullie had tied this and thought it looked good - agree about the badger, looks much better than the standard. I'm hoping to get up to Uist next time I'm back home, should have been this year.. But fuck knows when it'll be now
Aye it is a cracking cape Martyn, i've been buying a lot of the hen capes from Lakeland lately ..they are best hens i've used mate
@@Stevie_ONeill_Flyfishing I'll have a look, I dye a lot of my own but if I can save myself the work and get good stuff that's even better
Nice work. What vise do you use Stevie?
Hi Lee , it’s the Anvil Atlas vice I’ve had it for years
