Whoa... I think I just realized something. When I was 14 I was walking with my female friend (she was wearing a short-ish goth dress & stockings), a big car drove by and honked its horn, and some young male voices inside yelled unintelligibly at us out the window. I was taken aback and completely confused. She asked me if I knew them, I said no, she kind of grinned, and we kept walking. All these years I've wondered what that was about-whether we'd somehow done something to piss them off, whether they'd thought we were other people, etc. It baffled me. Watching this video when Ayla mentioned the car horns, I think I finally get it now. 😂
I am glad it's been going well for you after three months. I just passed three months on estradiol (2.25mg per day now) and they added a blocker (finasteride @5mg daily). You look great and I agree about being weirded out but strangely comforted by the whistles and cat calls! Welcome to womanhood...it's quite the journey!
You can discuss with your doctor any changes you want to make in the medications you take. You don’t ’have to’ take estrogen life long. Just make sure you discuss with your doctor as a number of factors can affect how quickly you make the change and whether or not you potentially need to take something else in lieu of the estrogen.
I'm 54 years old and separated since 14.yrs from my wife she is still a good girl in my life as a man I been living a double life between the two genders and I met a lot of transgender people in the last few years so I will never felt so sure of my life change to be a girl trans girl I need your opinion on the age that I have I'm I still good for estrogen
Hello @JorgeAyabar. As I once heard, the opposite of depression is expression.. not joy.. so it can be easy to enter those dark heavy spaces when you do not feel you can express yourself freely. I think there is no wrong age to be your truest self- trans or otherwise. If you feel HRT can help you in your expression I don’t think there is any wrong age to explore those options. This being said I am careful to not really give advice on HRT. Talk with a doctor about your options. They will help you get well informed options. Not every doctor may be great for that so you may have to look around. But do get a doctor you trust as HRT is nothing to play around with. Whatever path you take, I hope you do come to a place where you no longer feel you are living double lives and can be your authentic self in all aspects of your life 😊✌🏻

I discussed everything with my family doctor. We went over pros and cons and what options would be ideal for my circumstances.
You can also call planned parenthood if you have informed consent laws in your state.
Surprisingly, even Texas of all places has them.
