Thankyou for this it really helps me understand how to play and where to put the cards and things. The instruction manual that comes with it is really confusing.
Excellent explanation taking us step by step. Thank you. Deciding if I want to get this game. Played twice with friends and felt even 2 was hard to beat villains but really enjoyed playing.
Thanks for the video, really helps me out, but 1 question, do you have to play ALL your cards in your hand BEFORE you buy something in the shop (=the six cards on the right) ?
The rule book says you can choose any order of how you carry out actions. This includes playing cards from your hand, attacking / defeating villains, purchasing cards. Everything that's within step 3.
I just discovered this game and I’m obsessed with it lol I have a question tho - do u reset your heart between each game? Or do u keep your health where it’s at from the previous game?
2 questions. 1.) If you run out of health, and “discard half your hand” and you have an odd number of cards, do you round up or down? 2.) is the damage dealt to the Villian permanent throughout the game unless stated otherwise? Or does their health refresh at the end of the round
So I was wondering ons some cards it says discard to gain additional abilities. Is that just for the round or is it permanently discarded from my deck?
@@cooldenmark so after playing the game a few times. I have learnt that it refers to when a dark art event or villain makes you descard a card and that card just goes to your hands discard pile and can be played again whe it you shuffle your hand
Also, when you’re stunned and it says to remove half the cards in your hand, does that mean get rid of half your hogwarts deck cards? Or does that mean get rid of half of your 5 card hand?
Loved how you displayed each play, very clear!
Great video. First one I found that explains the game real well

You reset the setup at each game's beginning.
2 questions.

1: you round down
2: permanent unless otherwise stated

I would like to know that to

Half of what's in your hand.
What happens when you run out of Hogwarts deck cards?
You continue like that. The purchase phase is gone.
Decent video - it's pretty low-res though.
why is this in the critical role campaign 2 playlist?
Do you lose all the cards you bought in the previous game each year?
Yes.
I'm leaving you a comment because I love my girlfriend lmao
