The v shaped metal with the large hole in the end is one of the springs for a large animal trap.
Also the cast pieces you keep finding look like an old pioneer wood stove.
But for the most part, dig in any old established farm /ranch / old mining area, you will find metal everywhere.

The broken bottle, was a tobacco snuff bottle from the turn of the century. The ranch, was an active cattle and horse ranch at one time and of course, your going to find all kinds of old rusty stuff. I would love to find the old dump and look for old bottles. The old outhouse, would be another good spot to look for. The old timers, used to throw all kinds of liquor bottles and junk down the hole.

The circular metal piece at the end of the video @46:39 looks a lot like a coupler connecting a motor or engine output shaft to an input shaft for a piece of machinery like a pump. Could also be an anvil to a pneumatic rotary hammer or many other similar devices.

Carl ,what an awesome video and the sound is perfect. That part you’re holding in your thumbnail photo looks like the pulley system of the sink hole up the hill. I’m pretty certain Jimmy Hoffa is there. So exciting!

When you start finding bottles and bottle glass or broken Dina plate fragments that's an indication that there could be a bottle pit close by ...could be..

Maybe you guys should put a marker or a little flag or some thing when you find small stuff that you can’t get out so it’s easier for you to find when you go back. I know you both have excellent memories but maybe it’ll make life a little easier. Just a thought. Good luck.

When will we get the video of you and Jeff going up to the mine openings that were exploded in the episode? That big piece of Jasper Agate is awesome. Concerning the bottom of the broken old bottle, it would look great if you had someone cut the damaged top to be level, then it could be used for displaying without fear of getting cut, and it would look better.

You should get someone with a decent metal detector that is experienced out there, the old stage coach area should produce some relics. Also maybe there are rails below the soil near the old cart that you could detect and follow.
Also can you show us the old mines that you blew up? I want to see if there is more of that chunk of pegmatite you found and any signs of mineralisation.
Also you could set up that sluice and run through some soil from all 3 possible mines to see what they were mining?
    Thanks😁

Beaucoup de monde, les ont vue entrer dans les montagnes. Alors pour moi, je suis sur qu'il faut chercher dans les fréquences très basses.
