Glacier Park VLOG - Hiking the Floral Park Traverse (Difficult)

Welcome back for another Glacier National Park adventure VLOG. In today's video, we're embarking on an epic adventure through one of the most challenging hikes in Glacier National Park - the Floral Park Traverse! This rugged and picturesque route is not for the faint-hearted, as it offers breathtaking vistas, challenging terrain, and an unforgettable experience.
Before you consider attempting the Floral Park Traverse, let's get one thing straight: this is NOT a hike for novice hikers or first-timers. The Floral Park Traverse is a very long climb that demands a high level of fitness, experience, and preparation. Please be aware that there isn't consistent trail for this entire route and off-trail traversing is required.
Our journey takes us through some of the most pristine wilderness in Glacier National Park, with dramatic alpine meadows, rugged cliffs, and stunning waterfalls. We'll also make a pit stop at the historic Sperry Chalet, an iconic backcountry lodge that offers a unique glimpse into the park's rich history. This added 0.4 miles to the already long hike but it was worth taking peek into this iconic landmark for a slice of pie.
