MAYAAA!!!! I have been BATTLING w/ myself for years to relax my hair. When you said you had relaxed hair I was like YESSS!! I have natural hair - the 4C of 4Cs, and I've been wanting the silk press, flowy hair look but could never get it to where I want it, so I was thinking of relaxing my hair. But I always felt that if I did that I would get my B-Card revoked. I was already a light skin girlie who listens to Musical Theater (went to school for it and all lol) and talks "white" - and when I did the big chop and followed the queens I felt that it was undeniable thought that I was black. smh. That was years ago and now I'm 23 years old, living on my own in a big city, working 2 jobs plus auditioning. I need help lol. Thank you for just voicing your thoughts cause I thought I was alone.
Your definitely not alone sista! I feel like so many of us go through the battle of trying to do what others will perceive as correct vs what we really wanna do! It’s so hard to do something when u know the judgment will come.

I was also in elementary school so there's that, lmao. I might think of getting one soon, and using your texturized/short-term marination version. but I'm still currently in my protective styles 24/7 era.
