I am from Slovenia, I live in Ljubljana. Go to Postojna cave, the temperature is lower there and its nice in summer. You will see human fish (Proteus anguinus). Go to lake Bled, but its very crowded in summer, eat traditional Bled cream cake. You need to try Slovenian wine too, we have more than 28,000 wineries. You NEED to check Vintgar Gorge, especially if you will be near Bled. Its one 1,30 hour hike but so worth it.. Any questions?

That bag was beautiful! I spent a few weeks in Seoul this May and planned to get myself a bag made of fabric, stylish but with a traditional vibe. I didn’t find any that would perfectly match my demands :( Next time I’ll definitely try this store you mentioned ❤️. And I nearly shrieked when you mentioned Ansan and Metasequoias! I did the whole trail at Ansan Jarak-gil getting out at Yonsei university campus. Somehow nearly missed the Metasequoias part 😅 but then got back on the path that took me to it. I’d love to see it in autumn and winter now. Also there is a beautiful pine tree forest on the way to Yonsei campus! The walk was so much worth it.
Counting down the days now until i‘m back in Seoul! My list with coffee places to go to is already way too long thanks to you🙈☺️ Can‘t wait to explore some of them.

This probably won't work with your filming set up, but to beat the southern heat, I've recently started carrying a parasol. The top of it is basically made out of those silver screens people put in their car windows. Obviously it doesn't help with heat rising up from asphalt, but it's surprisingly helpful in staying cool.
Hi Cari, really recommend the northern part of Seoul (Suyu dong and Ui dong) with beautiful mountain views and nice cafes~ it's got a very different vibe.

Oh and to the authors list add Dušan Jelinčič with the book Zvezdnate noči, he is from Italy but he’s part of the Slovene minority in Italy (like me hehe) and this book is hands down the best book I ever read in slovenian
Slov-eh-nia is more like Slovenians and Slavs in general will pronounce it, but I guess more English-speakers will choose the other option. have a nice trip!
