That is a beautiful build, Joseph!!! Much damn respect!!! I love that rear bumper spare tire hitch/bumper that you have there! That was self fabricated in house huh? Is that something that can be bought anywhere?
He can't say nobody is doing it, cuz that's what my Element is. Jdm k24a with the usdm cams, 50° vtc, new intake, new header, 2.5" yonaka exhaust with Magnaflow resonator, exhaust is 2.5" all the way back. He got a sweet build
@@Element_lifestyle sounds like he and I had similar goals for adding power to the Element. Can't wait to see his sweet element back together. Thanks for showing us!
Hey brother I'm in the process as well JDM k24a2 just curious if I have to have custom exhaust. I currently have rsx base header motor is in but haven't got that yet
Awesome build. I also have a K24A 3lobe swap in my 04' CRV with a 5speed manual. It definitely needs an LSD. Even with oversized tires it loses traction when VTEC hits in 2nd gear.
Love your videos. I have a 2004 element ex 4wd with 190k miles and I'm burning oil. My engine is on its last legs due to previous owners negligence. I'm in Los Angeles do you have advice on where to find a good used motor? I can install myself. Thank you.
Hey, I have an element and want to clear the check engine lights, make sure the VTech is working. Also, I’d like to do some small performance upgrades. I loved this video. Please give me some feedback.
Awesome man but if it was mines I rather do a j swap that engine should had came with the element a v6 would be great to carry all the weight in my element
@@pnw_element9822 oh I know there's a kit, but there's still a lot of fabrication that needs to be done even with the kit. It is not just plug and play with the kit. Yes I'll be at the meet. Hell, I think I'm speaking at it, haha!!
Yes, they are Honda SI seat. Joseph builded a bracket so you can just mount the seats directly to the element. You can find both of the seat used for around $250 to $350 in Facebook marketplace or offer up.
Hey thank you man much appreciated. I thought the swap would be a little easier. Also for exhaust I would be using the rsx header would that be plausible it's not a 4wd
Joseph was getting 14 to 15 miles per gallon with the original engine since his E is lifted. With this new set up he is expecting to get at least 23 to 25 miles per gallon considering the lift. With out the lift he might get close to 26 to 29 miles per gallon. That the idea but we will be getting together again for updates and more info about it 😎👍
@@Element_lifestyle The lift itself does not affect the mileage much. It's the fact that larger tires and wheels are usually added which adds so much weight. Also, don't forget that with bigger tires you have to calculate for the different diameter.
The v6 from the odyssey would probably net more hp and torque, but I do not believe it is compatible with the AWD system of the E. I love this build. My wife and I have had 2 Elements so far. I love the versatility and ease of use of the platform. They just work. We have never “off road” it. When this is done, if it all works out, you should definitely manufacture and sell a lift kit for for the E. That is a nice looking setup.
This will not endear me to viewers of this channel but just because you can doesn't mean you should. The element is perfectly designed for it's purpose--which is not hot-rodding or rock crawling. A draft horse does not belong on the race track.
What an awesome build! Joseph had made so much in just a short time into his Element. 👍
I agree 👍

I don't see many people building these, but I've always had a soft spot for them. This is awesome to see
What rails did you use for those seats?
This is the first time I have really seen someone plan an off road Element properly. Looking good.
I agree 👍
any updates on the prototypes to make the AWD system better?

What’s the best year to do the swap ?
I wonder if you built these motors a little the power to weight ratio would be better so you'd get better fuel economy. Just a thought.
Wow that’s sick!
It is brother, I can imagine your khaki E with that set up. Will be crazy

I’m wondering can you swap the 06 CRV 5spd with the k24a2?
Amazing job on your Element...
Super amazing 😎👍
Interesting build. Can’t wait to see it complete
Love that rear bumper 😎
Thanks for sharing 👍
The front & rear bumper were just one of my most favorite add on in Joseph’s Element. I liked how light it was.
The brisket looked sweet
That place was bomb. Delicious Texas style BBQ
That’s awesome
This is sick! Something i'm working toward on mine.
That will be sick to start building those set up for the manual Elements
Are those bumpers for sale ?
Where'd you get the rear bumper
Custom made by element44
I'm a little loss u mod the front putter tie rod to give more lift to be more lower???
What about those seats?
They are from A Honda Civic SI. Joseph made custom bracket for it
Can you do a k24a 1st gen ridgeline next ?? Awd street build
That will be sick , I never seen one
Did you do the k20 oil pump and did you keep the power steering? Cool build

I will buy it online from a jdm provider. Maybe pay few hundred $ more but defenitly good engines with real low mileage
@@Element_lifestyle how do you look for jdm providers? Thanks
man i need to hit him up to build some bumpers.
You should, he got really unique and nice bumpers 😎👍
Does he offer the bumpers for sale? Should be a link added where one could order if so?
Ya he does , contact him I Instagram @element44
I have a first gen manual with k24a2 swap in progress and last gen 4x4
Nice !!
Well I see this post was 3mos ago.. how did your swap go? Any tips or comments… Im trying to find someone to do the same for my 03 manual drive E’

What lift kits would you recommend for an Element?
Aerogenics
With so much work done why not go width 4Runner or fjcruiser
What Honda rims are those ?
S2000 all fronts
Do you know of an air suspension that would work for a 05 Honda element?
Where is Joseph shop located?
San Benardino

I would like to see an Element with a Chevy LS engine, so if you run across one please video tape it.
Civic si seats

I wonder the cost and efficiency of this compared to the V6 engine from Honda Odyssey
