j-hope is kind of my favorite idol ever, i haven't kept up with bts super attentively for a while but that has never hindered my love of j-hope lol, he's just so cool. i got front barrier at a bts concert a few years back, and i cannot tell you how fucking energetic he is, he really doesn't get enough credit. of course all of them did amazing, but he seriously stood out, he was so fucking passionate i was kind of in awe. i've never screamed at a concert so loud like i did when he performed just dance and tear, mans was on FIRE i tell you. bruh like literally it was life changing, he is an icon and he IS the moment. i also feel the exact same way about taeyong, another super humble and cool dude who i respect a lot. tons of idols really are just in it for the fame and the post idol-life opportunities that come from being an idol, but i really feel like these two genuinely love what they do and it's what they were meant to do, immaculate vibes, massive respect.

okay i was like there should be all of svt or at least one member from svt so I'm happy to see that you included them all...cause i couldn't agree more!! svt is such a genuine and funny, crazy group of likable and obviously talented ppl. If i could choose a group to be friends with it's svt!! (fair enough they are my bias group since 2015 but i genuinely think even non carats could agree that they are likable and funny); edit: to elaborate i honestly like how they get along as group!! 13 people are a lot and to be this close and actually a group of people where i would say: this kpop group actually *is* a big family, i don't get that often!! for everyone not being a carat just watch gogose or edits of it, they are a blessing to the heart and i'd agree i only have a few groups where i can confidently say i could be friends with every single one. it's also the only group where picking a bias is actually hard for me (dk and wonwoo) because everyone is just biaswrecking the whole time!!

For me, Got7: Youngjae Nct: Kun, doyoung, jeno, xiaojun N.flying: Hun Bts: namjoon Seventeen: wonwoo Exo: suho And also from other groups Bap: yongguk Vixx: ravi Beg: jea Epik high: tablo B1a4: gongchan Btob: ilhoon Tvxq/jyj: xia/junsu I can't explain how but they share something similar that make me immediately feel close to them (The fact most of them are grandpas of their groups and constantly bullied by idols in your list lol)

so true what you said about taeyong he seems like such a good friend, always tries to lift other people up with him. when he produces songs he gives members who usually don't get a lot of lines the coolest parts, he refuses to clap for misogynists at award shows, he tries to give spotlight to his friends who are dancers, artists and producers. he is really sweet and cares a lot about people who care about him. he used to do 3h livestreams just to listen to music, game and give advice to his fans. i've never heard something bad about taeyong from people who worked with him. ups the tyongf in me jumped out

I realize I am coming to this discussion a year late but omg it’s like you read my mind! I saw part two first and when considering idols that are ✅ for me, I immediately thought of BamBam, Eric, Yeji, Ryunjin (not to say I dislike the other members, I just don’t know them super well yet), and Keeho! Also JHope is definitely #1 in terms of passing a vibe check for me in BTS. He seems like he would be an excellent friend. I know that you include all of SKZ later. And I definitely love them all, but I can also see why you chose Han first here. I think initially I felt really drawn in by Han and Hyunjin’s personalities. I think my favorite thing about Han now that I know them better is that he is really introverted and shy. I can to relate to his ability to be outgoing when comfortable with people, but feeling nervous around new people. He also, like JHope, is so encouraging to the members and fans alike. He always seems so excited for fans when they tell him things about their life in fan calls for example. I just imagine if I ever were to meet them, he would be someone it would be easy to immediately feel comfortable around. 🖤 Anyway, great list!

okay i was like there should be all of svt or at least one member from svt so I'm happy to see that you included them all...cause i couldn't agree more!! svt is such a genuine and funny, crazy group of likable and obviously talented ppl. If i could choose a group to be friends with it's svt!! (fair enough they are my bias group since 2015 but i genuinely think even non carats could agree that they are likable and funny); edit: to elaborate i honestly like how they get along as group!! 13 people are a lot and to be this close and actually a group of people where i would say: this kpop group actually *is* a big family, i don't get that often!! for everyone not being a carat just watch gogose or edits of it, they are a blessing to the heart and i'd agree i only have a few groups where i can confidently say i could be friends with every single one. it's also the only group where picking a bias is actually hard for me (dk and wonwoo) because everyone is just biaswrecking the whole time!!

so true what you said about taeyong he seems like such a good friend, always tries to lift other people up with him. when he produces songs he gives members who usually don't get a lot of lines the coolest parts, he refuses to clap for misogynists at award shows, he tries to give spotlight to his friends who are dancers, artists and producers. he is really sweet and cares a lot about people who care about him. he used to do 3h livestreams just to listen to music, game and give advice to his fans. i've never heard something bad about taeyong from people who worked with him. ups the tyongf in me jumped out

I realize I am coming to this discussion a year late but omg it’s like you read my mind! I saw part two first and when considering idols that are ✅ for me, I immediately thought of BamBam, Eric, Yeji, Ryunjin (not to say I dislike the other members, I just don’t know them super well yet), and Keeho! Also JHope is definitely #1 in terms of passing a vibe check for me in BTS. He seems like he would be an excellent friend.
I know that you include all of SKZ later. And I definitely love them all, but I can also see why you chose Han first here. I think initially I felt really drawn in by Han and Hyunjin’s personalities. I think my favorite thing about Han now that I know them better is that he is really introverted and shy. I can to relate to his ability to be outgoing when comfortable with people, but feeling nervous around new people. He also, like JHope, is so encouraging to the members and fans alike. He always seems so excited for fans when they tell him things about their life in fan calls for example. I just imagine if I ever were to meet them, he would be someone it would be easy to immediately feel comfortable around. 🖤
