Those speed are not to be trusted since the car is about 5% higher than real speed. Only GPS speed meter can be trusted. And he was probably going downhill to reach that speed.
Still a really nice car and impressive performances for a small motor.

No Fearness I don’t think it has to do with the car being tall or not. It’s more like how the engine deals with its power and torque as well the gear ratio. It’s an impressive work from Alfa.
bbb12345 Nope. The main reason is to reach the topspeed is the aerodynamic of the chassis, wheels, weight and the size. The engine is only the 3rd point. 230nm arent much.

I can hardly believe you can achieve 250kmh in a stock 170hp 1.4t engine. I've got a 1.4tsi Golf Mk7 and it will hardly do 210 in a long road...

250 kmh was on downhill, i remember that at flat road was around 230 or so
