Keys To Mephiles' Kingdom - Linkin Park vs Sonic 2006

Out of all the tracks on this album, this was the toughest one to do. Whilst "The Last Divide (Heavy Way)" had challenges regarding pitch shifts orchestral work, "Keys To Mephiles' Kingdom" had to deal with pitch shifts, constant tempo & mood shifts. Not only that, but LP's Keys To The Kingdom wasn't enough & need more, especially as I wanted to combine both phases of Mephiles' themes together. I worked on this on & off until it was the last track for me to make. I'm pretty proud with how it came out.
Theme-wise similar to my Fist Bump Ultimate LP mix, I like to think that Chester's vocals represents Shadow whilst Mike represents Mephiles. This battle between the 2 was sort of inspired by the artwork used for this video's thumbnail;

Was originally on her DeviantART account (at least, as far as I remember), but has been removed for whatever reasons. It was a part of a 3-part illustration, suggesting what would become of Shadow if he defeated Sonic aboard the ARK in SA2 & delved into the dark side. They had amazing stories written within the description of said artworks, but they are now sadly gone (I did managed to save the 3 artworks on my PS3 ages ago).
