Global Village has a line-up of more than 40,000 cultural and entertainment shows each season. There's always something happening with country pavilions hosting live shows, on-stage children's entertainment and roaming street performers.11 Sep 2023.
Global Village started out in the form of a number of kiosks in 1996 located on the Creek Side opposite to Dubai Municipality. It then later shifted to the Oud Metha Area near Wafi City for 5 years. Today, Global Village has 6 million visitors at its current location in DubaiLand.
The Global Attractions Attendance report recently revealed that an average of 42,000 people visited Global Village every day during its annual season, ranking it fourth in terms of total footfall.
The seasonal park opens in October, and goes on until end of April. The open-air complex attracted millions of visitors during the season.
