Eric Sermon is one of the dopest producer in hip hop he does not get mentioned enough IMO.

For me the Golden Age of Hip-Hop was from ‘86 - ‘89, seemed like every month a new artist was out with new & unique music & style.
As far as I know, EPMD is still the only major label rap group that recorded their vocals in the booth at the same time. Speaking as an audio engineer, we would never do that nowadays but i think it definitely gave them a different energy when they went back and forth.

I remember riding my ten speed and listening to that EPMD “Strictly Business”album on my Walkman all summer long. Truly one of my favorite groups.
