I know Geddy and Alex deserve all the time in the world to themselves, but it would be awesome if they did a podcast or vlog together. As I've grown older I've realized one of the things I love about Rush is the comraderie and the humor all three shared with each other.
Those two would be perfect for doing a podcast. I have to think they’ve been approached about it. I hope they give it a shot. I’d be thrilled, even if they did it once every two weeks, or even once a month🇨🇦

Alex cracks me up. I love seeing this side of the Worlds Greatest Band. Love seeing Geddy just being an ordinary guy at Blue Jays games, he's always happy to say Hi. And what did Geddy do when his grandson dropped his ice cream? Geddy gave him his ice cream.

@@coolusername588 Of course! But what I found so touching - you see rock stars up on a stage being all bad-ass musicians and it's hard to think of them as "normal" people. And a lot of them aren't really, they live the rock and roll lifestyle. Rush never did, and I love that Geddy and Alex are finally getting to enjoy their families on a regular basis. They deserve it after working so hard for so many years!
@@fever_spike umm.... no its not. I'm Jewish, and 1. 'Jewish' isn't a language 2. Zayde is not a word in any of the Jewish languages I know. If you want a Jewish term for grandpa, say 'sabba'- it's in Hebrew, and that's the actual word many Jewish people use to call their grandpa.

We all do
True friendship means you can always and forever be an asshole to each other and end up being closer. This is a 58 second explanation on why Rush is Loved. What made these 3 humble guys from the Great White North so great is that first and foremost they were friends.
Their deep friendship is a glorious thing to witness.
I love seeing the banter between these two.
The laughter and goofy humor is so great to see.
Especially when you see other bands that have fallen apart and can't stand each other anymore.
RUSH still stands strong ... and a little drunk 🤪
In the late 70's/early 80's, long before CZcams, when you didn't even have access to videos or VCR's, all there was was the music, and the only images you had to even know the 3 men existed or what they even looked like was a pic or two on the album sleeve. We wore out the vinyl every day, they were aloof, inaccessible gods to us, we could never conceive that 40-some years later we'd be seeing them like this. But we also got a NEW mind-blowing Rush album almost EVERY YEAR. It's almost like we're all living in a strange afterlife now.

In such a weary world, it's comforting to know the boys can still make our day by making us laugh.
We could certainly use this kind of friendship in a new world, man. ❤😊

April 16, 1977 Crawford Auditorium, Grove City, PA (supported by Max Webster) Was my very first Concert . When we left - It felt like a lit cigar in each ear . I loved it and have listened to RUSH with a Happy memory ever since ! Thank You Guy's . Ray in PA

I've seen this band five times - 1990, 2004, 2007, 2012, 2015. They had some of the BEST live shows in rock history. Even as a teenager I could tell by listening to their lyrics the full intelligence and maturity that puts them above most of the others. Their videos were always more innovative too. LBNL, they 'Kicked Ass'! When the band ended on Jam. 7, 2020 with Neil's passing, I was stunned and very sad. And the next week, traitor trump got through his first impeachment. RUSH was one of the greatest bands ever, their music + lyrics enriched my life and I relate to it big time. I miss them so badly
Love you Geddy and Alex! RIP Neil, forever remembered.

Some friends and I bought every Rush beer the local vendor had in stock: "Red Sector Ale", "The Camera IPA", "Brew World Man", "Hemisbeers", "Bock and Key", "The Analager Kid", "Red Beerchetta", "Nobody's Beero" and even the assortment of Vapor Ales. We went back to my place and started singing "2112 Bottles of Beer on the Wall" until Jacob's bladder ruptured so we switched to the less filling "Fly By Light". What a party!!

These two guys are legends at what they've helped create in Rush. Geddy Lee, and Alex Lifeson are a couple of really nice guys, that are down to earth, and real gentlemen. They helped create the best band ever, under the professor himself: Neil Peart. While having missed their great friend Neil so much, they just put the happy times of the band into perspective, because that's how Neil would have loved it to be, even if it didn't involve music, but just a jokingly funny commercial-like beer chit-chat. Thanks for the wonderful memories!! I sure do miss Neil Peart, but seeing these two fine men like this, gives me the frame of mind of seeing Neil there, telling funny jokes himself with them as well.

I bumped into Geddy around the corner from Healey's at Bathurst and King about 20 years ago. A big smile and a "g'day" was more than enough for this fan.🥰
In my heart of hearts, I believe they will make more music together before it's all said and done. It's in their DNA. You can't turn off creativity like a light switch. They'll never find another Neal nor should they try but they could make a single phone call to their manager and have the worlds leading drummers lined up in the studio hallway in a matter of days. We don't need a tour to go with it either. Just some of that magic they create. Fingers crossed.

I became a big fan of Rush in the '80s. I first saw Alex in his Simon Le Bon hairdo/red jacket period, and he always looked so serious. I had no idea he was such a funny person off-stage. Only in the past few years when I started watching Rush music videos, interviews, etc. did I find out that Alex is a hoot! Life advice: Look around your friend group, and if there isn't an Alex, then you need to be Alex!
