Hands down the best channel I have found for doing a campervan conversion. All these other channels show a quick time lapse of how these people did their vans but very few people actually show you how to do it. Great job, man!
Wow, thanks!
'Intelligent engineering' is how I would describe this build. Very good.
You should move your main negative to the bottom battery. The way it's hooked up your first battery is taking the most wear, by moving it the power has to flow through all the batteries for any load (Victron has a document you can read on this). I would also suggest adding some kind of divider between the water hear plumbing and your electrical. When (not if) you get a leak it'll save your electrical components from getting wet.
These are wired in parallel. I don't see how the connection point would make a difference. I looked for the Victron info but didn't find it. Do you have a link?
@@rogermccaslin5963 I didn't say anything about parallel or series wiring. The issue is that your batteries close to the connection point will see more wear that the ones further. That is why it is reccomended that you connect + on one side of the whole pack and - on the other side so that all batteries see the same amount of wear. Thanks. I believe OP responded with a link (although I don't see it now). I read their section and the internal resistance of the battery is what I recall reading. I'm obviously not an expert but having had boats with multiple batteries, it seems to me that the difference in battery longevity is negligible but I could be wrong as I never studied it. My experience is if one battery fails, the others are soon to follow.
Having said that, I have no problem adjusting my own thoughts and changing the connection points because it certainly can't hurt.
@@rogermccaslin5963 was this comment your first time on youtube? CZcams has not allowed people to post links except for the channel owner for 5+ years. Sometimes links to other youtube videos can be posted if the channel owner allows that.

And how would one know if links were allowed by the channel owner unless they ask?
Beautifully done, and it's amazing you did the conversion in one month!
Congrats on a well-planned and exceptionally good build; it looks great!
Absolutely lovely van, do hope you have some lovely times in it ❤
Very nice! I love the white finish on walls and ceiling. Thanks for the tour!
Excellent video and a beautiful van conversion. Congratulations on a great build!👍
Your build is so clean and beautiful! Especially for one month!
Wow, great job! I look forward to watching your other videos. Thanks for sharing.
I love the layout of your build! this is the direction I would go in, when I build my van!
i have never seen this well planned and clean van build ..Everything is perfectly managed .Love this
Thank you!!!
Exceptional build. Best Promaster example I have seen so far. Thanks for creating this content. 👍🙏
Straight up the best van conversion
You did a great job! Well done!
Nice. I like you went with quality over price in certain things. Thanks. A very admirable job!🙂
Best build I’ve seen so far and I have watched many on CZcams! Great job.
Best conversion I seen. This is exactly what I want💪💪
This is out of this planet.Just amazing
Beautiful build and it feels like a mini condo unit, the most important part is the bathroom.
One of the NICEST BUILDS I HAVE EVER SEEN!! BRAVO SIR!!
Wow, thanks!
I added a hot water recirculation loop for our shower on a solenoid. I can hit a switch and it circulates the hot water in the pipes so we don’t lose a lot of water getting it to temperature. Only takes a few seconds. We also put in a thermostatic mixer valve so there is no fiddling with the two valves getting the temperature right.
I added a cielo breeze eco thermostat for our Houghton 3400 but it requires Wi-Fi for it to work. Our AC would short cycle a lot so I extended the thermistor outside the airflow.
one of the better useful detailed videos ive seen. thank you
Great job for 30 days! I’d like to see how the Mdf cabinets hold up after a year or so. Should be ok if they stay dry. Like the idea of raising the floor for feet at swivel seats. I’ll likely steal that idea.
Very nice build, man. You put some thought, money , and work into it. Hope yall get many years of memories.
Great built ! For the price and time - unbelievable. Working on mine-almost exact same, be happy to chat about more details. Thanks.
I’ve watched a lot of van builds and I can honestly say this one is my favorite! Great job!
I agree, nice job !!
Super cool build! Thanks for sharing!
I totally agree with the other comments, one of the best van build designs I've seen! Well done! Great tips. I'm eager to watch your other videos while doing the build. I'm just getting started on my 2021 ProMaster 2500 like yours.
not one of the best but its pretty good I like this one most tho czcams.com/video/DMgN3RfDxoQ/video.html
Thank you very much!
this is perfect for me i would want an extended version and a different toilet but perfect otherwise. great job
For now I'm obsessed with watching others build incredible vans, I hope one day I can make one of my own!
Ditto
This is the best video that I have seen for what I was looking for. !!!! Thank you !!!
You're very welcome!
Super job!!!! Love the wood and the finish you did.
One of the best I have seen. I love it.
Amazing DIY..I really like that you turned around the driver's seat and left open the front. When you step in it appears so much larger.
Most cram a wall against the driver's seat. I'm a single woman and wouldn't need such a large bed which i would widen the narrow closet into a pull out pantry. I would suggest a tilt out trash bin for on the garage door under the bed which would be handy for the kitchen. Insulating the space over the driver and passenger seats and using that for more storage than window screens would be an added bonus in temp control. The shower and the garage both looks great. Great job..Thank you for sharing.
Very nice build. Quality workmanship!
Thank you very much!
Thank you for having the builds done in episode. I'm getting ready to veg out on your videos. I did subscribe. Thank you, Beautifully built. Thank you again for sharing.❤
Wow this van is incredible. Thank you for sharing your amazing van build!
Thank you
Great job, thank you for posting !
This is a very clean, organized , cozy and well planned living space. Beautiful 😀
Thanks so much! 😊
Really nice, sensible, and thoughtful build.
Thank you
Super (both the van and how you talked about it)!
I love this one, it's so simple
Awesome job. Especially for 30 days
Great job 👏 I love it.
I plan on building my own van ( Ford Transit 3500 ) biggest they make at the end of the year. I don't have a garage anymore so 90% of the You tube van builds have people making their own cabinets, Thanks for the excellent idea to get Residential Bathroom Cabinets and Counters.
Absolutely superb. Thanks so much for sharing your ideas and skills with us. I'm at the blank page design stage with my build and seeing your 3D mockup really helped. Is your van H2L3? Transits rule! Thanks again. 👍
Thank you. We don't rate the models in that format though. It's a 159 non extended. So probably H2L2
Hi Teresa here your van build is great ! I'll pattern my build to yours . Thanks for a detailed description... ❤ New subscriber here!🎉
👍 Excellent work! Straight up what I would go for. Could the exhaust be moved if one wanted to? Lover the layout! Very nice job overall.
A nice tour with you 🙋
A Great house on wheels 🚌
amazing build. Grt to ve a inside shower. 👍
AMAZING. You have a lot to be proud of.
Thank you
Beautiful Van!!!Thanks for sharing. May God Bless You!
Thank you! You too!
I love this van. Everything you need.
Thank you
Cool. Thanks for making this video.
This is a really nice build! I wouldn't buy a van that's almost 10 years old though. REALLY NICE BUILD! Seriously impressive
Thanks for the nice comment. I wouldn't buy a new Promaster. They are garbage. This van has proven itself, has zero problems and zero corrosion. New isn't always better.
You did a great job ....love everything you have done in your van....❤👍👍👍
Thanks so much!
Nice job! a lot of details.
Very nice build. Well done. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you
Prefect layout mate, well done to you both
Thanks 👍
Nice van! I’m going to steal your layout for the most part. We don’t need an inside shower, but we do have 2 dogs so I’ll make the shower space a spot for a crate with a counter top above.👍👍
GREAT VAN DESIGN
You should be pleased…this van is spectacular! I got some good ideas for my build and subbed to see more of your videos. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome, thank you!
that is the best build I've seen yet, very impressive!
Thank you
Nice work in 30 days!
Thank you! Great presentation!
Excellent and I know you save a large fortune. I can’t believe Van’s are up to $300,K The Manufacturer’s have lost the entire point.
🎊 🎉😊
Right! All I see with the factory RVs are 1000+ things that can break. More complicated than a space shuttle.
Just… Gorgeous!! Beautiful build⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m about to begin this journey as soon as I pick it up from the mechanic (I’m so scared!). Your video is so helpful, thank you for sharing all of your work🙏🏼 Can you please link your seats? I don’t see them listed. Anyway, excited to devour the rest of your channel for more ideas and tips. Bless you🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
What seats are you mentioning? The seat swivels?
@@JackofAllMasterofNone Yes, the swivel seats. Thank you!

Great job - love it! Hope you make a business building these !
I was committed on the committed below about the negative wire to the bottom battery. You will use all your battery's the same, not just the top one first.
fanastic, could live in it for months.
Wow, love the detail and explanation. Looking forward to getting ours underway. Where is your electrical layout video?
Still working on it. Will be out soon
Nice van! I really like it! Thank you.
Thank you too!
Nice job !! Excellent layout !!
Thank you very much!
Feel like Ram and Dodge are the most underrated companies, this van is easily at the level of Mercedes Sprinter for a lot cheaper.
Wow, beautiful. Well done!
Thank you very much!
Beautiful van!!!
great job ! amazing that you were able to fit a stand alone shower in a non-extended van and still have descent room for everything else. After seeing 100's of van videos, I think you nailed it. The extended van would have given you more room to play with and ,maybe a bit more storage, but i thing i would be happier with a smaller rig due to the ease of driving and manoevering around the city and parking lots.
Thanks!
*decent "descent" means to go down
Great info. Thank you 👍💖👋
I’ve often wondered about the van ac units. You already have all of the machinery in your van, compressor, evaporator condenser and controls. Add an electric motor to power it and you can save on installation of complete new system.
Great job !! I like it 👍👌
Well done video and build!!!!!!!! Thanks.
Thank you!
This is an incredible build 👌💯
Thank you
Great job 👍
Well done I like it very much…I want to buy one
Clever young lad lots talent makes look easy, when it’s really not, nice job
Thank you
Very interesting build. Heaps of information there. Thank you. I did think that the Negitive connection cable from the top battery possible should be connected to the bottom battery instead. Just from what I could see.
It's been changed. Thanks for the comment.
Clean Build!
Thank you
la téléoche dans le lit, c'est has been un max !
Nice work
Great video. I'm inspired to do mine although I can't do mine in 30 days. :( Thank you for the details.
nice build
Looks great. Stop thinking about a gas heater (very dangerous). Most heaters on boats is either diesel or propane fuel cause it's safe.
great talk through, thanks
very well done and well explaines throuout your video, this i my dream and goal to perchase , am in processe to buy one and DYI , am watching alot on youtube and yours is the perfect one that ive came across , ive saved your video and hopefully i can make my dream come true..... love and love your DYI RAM Promaster .....
Thank you
How much weight did you add in the build and how much capacity left for gear and people! Really a wonderful build. I add like many others have added in saying this might be the best layout for the ProMaster!
Nice job. 👌
One of the nicest, smartest, diy layouts and executions I've seen. Well done! Move your battery negative wire to the bottom battery to help reduce the imbalance you currently have with your parallel batteries. ?This is especially important with LifePO4 parallel batteries due to their inherent low internal resistance which makes loads balancing across parallel batteries more critical. It will take a minute to correct this, so no reason to not improve this small issue that will become a bigger issue over time.
It's already been done. Thanks for watching.
Nice job.
Excellent job lov it
Thank you! 😊
Nice job
