When it comes to making music at home inside a DAW, there is one particular concept that comes quite naturally to a beginner... that tool is EQ.
Now the reason the concept of EQ makes sense is because you and I have been adjusting EQ's since we were 5 years old in our parent's minivan where the car stereo that had those three magic little faders: Bass, Mid, & Treble.
And that is the essence of EQ; It's about finding a good balance between the bass, mid, and treble frequencies in your songs.
In this video, you're going to learn the 5 EQ Zones. These 5 Zones are as follows:
1. The LOWS (20 hz - 200 hz)
2. The LOW-MIDS (200 hz - 700 hz)
3. The HIGH-MIDS (700 hz - 2k)
4. The HIGHS (2k - 5k)
5. The SUPER-HIGHS (5k & up)
