In the event of getting an amount of Rs. 4000 debited from the bank account without receiving a reference number when applying for clearance certificates, the applicant can verify whether the application has been duly submitted by sending the applicant's National Identity Card number or passport number through a WhatsApp message to the telephone number, 0718592990.
In case the application is not duly submitted, the payment reversal request should be made by sending an email to clearance@police.gov.lk indicating the National Identity Card number and the last four digits of the relevant debit or credit card.

I been waiting over 60 days while applying police clearence with all the documents required. Today i went to follow up my police clearence near to the police station, they told me to bring the additional document or same documents again. Then what is benefit of applying documents from online.

And more then 03 or 04 days he went to police head quarters and asked and they are saying next week it will be send to post. Upload the Passport detail page (for the affidavit upload ) if the ID name = passport name, and if you want the passport number to be on the police certificate ( which name should be printed on the certificate:- passport ). If the names are different you need an affidavit. Please correct me if I am wrong.
