That 2 tone purple & white square body is sweet lookin. Thaz probably an 80 year model because 80 was the only year for the grille & headlamp bezels with those designs. Those square body models are my favorite ones & they were produced from 73 - 91, except the 10 & 20 series regular cab pickups were discontinued in 87, & the 30 series regular cab pickups were discontinued in 89.

@@TheJourneyHQ & 80 was both the first year for square headlamps & last year for round headlamps. Not to forget 80 was also the last year for outside hood release. The square headlamps came standard on models with the Silverado & Sierra Classic trim levels & optional on models with the other trim levels. 75 was the first year for the Silverado trim level & it replaced the previous Cheyenne Super trim level.
@@TheJourneyHQ those square body pickups were the first Chevys & GMCs to have an optional bigger cab which was the crew cab introduced in 73 which was also the first year for the square body models too. The square body crew cabs were only available on 20 & 30 series models, all had the long wheel base, & the only pickup box that came with them was the 8ft long fleetside one. Unlike the crew cabs today that are also available on half ton models & have a shorter wheel base & pickup box.
Very Kool Show! Wish we had a C10 show here in Florida. Glad to see the channel growing.. Trying to start my own channel doing similar builds. Keep up the good content. I'll be watching and learning.

It is a great show. The problem is that the show has out grown the location and needs to be moved to a larger venue. As soon as registration opens its sold out.
